It was an evening to remember. Adnan Sami live at the moon-drenched Taj Mahal. "I felt like Shah Jahan. And what made it even more special was that I had my Mumtaz Mahal by my side," chuckles Adnan.
It's the morning after the Taj triumph. And Adnan is on Cloud Nine.
"It was a dream concert ! It was such an honour to sing before the Taj Mahal with 20,000 people packed in the ground. I believe 3,000 others were listening from the streets. Tuesday night was the grand finale of the year-long celebrations on the completion of 350 years of the Taj Mahal. It was a huge honour to do the finale for such a grand occasion specially since the CM Mulayam Singh Yadav attended."
What made the occasion even more memorable for Adnan was that his new lady-love was present at Agra to share this historic moment with him.
"Yes, I've begun to rediscover love," blushed Adnan who has gone through two unsavoury divorces.
"But it's too early to talk about it…or her. We're just beginning to discover each other. If all goes well it will turn into something durable and ever-lasting. Therefore it would be indiscreet to divulge her identity. But yes, she is a well-known Bollywood actress. And we're getting very close to each other. We met during the last lap of my world concerts last month. Since then we've been constantly together."
So is Adnan Seeing Amisha Patel?
Squashing rumours that Adnan's lady love is Amisha Patel, Vikram Bhatt says, "This stupid rumour started when Amisha accompanied Adnan on his world concert tour. Believe me there's nothing between them. I should know. Because Amisha is with me. We are doing just fine together."
"These rumours aren't healthy for any relationship. But I guess all high-profile relationships have to go through these cycles of public scrutiny. Amisha and I are very much in love. And if she wasn't busy with her career we'd have made it official without a second thought."
