I love the way this started off with that split-second dance - really showed the way Omkara was the one who pulled Gauri into their relationship. Then the next shot is Omkara carrying Gauri into their room - again he is bringing her back into the relationship. The regret on Omkara's face (Kunal nailed that look) - I think it's so great you put that in before we saw Gauri's heartbreak, really clever Fariah.
'Jaane wafa hoke bekaraar'
'I had faith in you but I was still restless'
The way she hugs him close in the shot shows her need to protect him. This is a phase in the show where Omkara was unable to give their relationship a name and it was shortly after this when he seriously hurt her feelings by refusing to acknowledge her status as his wife. Throughout all the hardship prior to this Gauri had maintained her faith in ShankarJi and OmkaraJi, but there were moments like when she questioned her place in his life, that we saw her restlessness, so this line is just perfect for RiKara and the expression on her face definitely shows restlessness - Shrenu is such a natural actress.
'Jaane wafa hoke bekaraar'
'I had faith in you but I was still restless'
This second time you used this line and conveyed the parallels of now and then. The first shot is Gauri avoiding the plea in Omkara's eyes and hardening herself before looking at him, after his realisation and the second shot is before his realisation and is so perfect in showing how Gauri is restless despite her faith in him, because he is not meeting her eyes unable to answer the questions Shrenu perfectly shows in them - ShreNal outdid themselves with the communication in these two scenes.
'Barson kiya maine intezaar'
'I have waited for you for years'
The hope on Gauri's face that the time of waiting and patience has passed and she can finallybe open with Omkara about her feelings, shows how hard her wait has been. I loved that you picked that specific shot.
Par kabhi tune nahin... yeh tab kaha joh ab kaha'
But still you have never... said what You have said just now'
You perfectly selected the scene where she no longer wants to hear what he has to say, because
he couldn't find the words when she desperately needed to hear them, he would not say them
- even when he had countless perfect oppurtunities like when she found him blindfolded.
'Dil bebasi mein chupke se rota hai'
'My heart in helpless state, cried silently'The way she tried to hide her hurt after the exhibition - her only wish to be worthy of his love - you are Chiraaya, you really are. This line was so perfect for that scene that really got to me. Also the way she walked away from him in the temple even though her heart was begging her not too- Shrenu made that struggle so apparent so kudos to her for enacting it and you Fariah for choosing it.
'Kya karoon hay... kuch kuch hota hai'
'What do I do, oh... something strange is happening'I love that you showed how much his touch affects her and how she has attempted and failed to override that by not letting him touch her. Gauri koh definitely 'kuch kuch hota hai' .
'Kya karoon hay... kuch kuch hota hai'
'What do I do, oh... something strange is happening'Ending with her returning to his arms willingly was just perfect and this time it was a firm decision on her part, and you also showed himpulling her into his arms again - WOW!
This was absolutely wonderful Fariah and I think it deserved a full appraisal - hope I haven't bored you too much, but you did give me permission . Thanks for posting this.
