Ishwari was keenly observing every movements of her son.
He was instructing many things to the new nurse.
Ishwari took a deep sigh. "Yeh Dev bhi na! How many times she assured him she would not repeat any carelessness in her health issue but he didn't oblige..
What sonakshi used to call him secretly oh ..ohbo..haan Obhodro! Yes that name 100suitable for him" Ishwari thought..
The new lady came and checked her BP. Ishwari didn't like her even a bit.
"was she some kind of robot or what? No smile -no fondness -no expression on her face.. "
"If my nutrition was here she would make some stories to divert my attention as she knew I have some kind of aversion towards these medical instruments...
She would explain everything related to my deficiencies-why should I have to have more salt-why couldn't I have oily items-which food has which vitamins everything -she used to elaborate -as if I was a five years old.. "
A fond -tender smile adorned ishwari's face
"Jiji you are smiling that means can i take this saree to wear for my neighbor's son's wedding? . Wow Thank you jiji. You are just wonderful. " radharani tried to hug ishwari in her over excitement .
That's when ishwari realized she has been smiling - thinking about her nutrition..
A slight pain crossed her heart but definitely not because of any medical issues..

Dev's eye widened and he turned to look at sonakshi.
There she was laughing hardly - closing her mouth with her hand..
"stop staring her. And first remove this suit-coat -tie everything . Are you attending any meeting with US President? Why dressed so heavily? " he was making faces in annoyance.
"Don't say u know nothing about cricket"another boy who is taller in the group came forward..
"I know I know ".. Dev said hesitatingly..
"Listen now carefully" all the boys came to the serious look.
ONE boy maybe he was the umpire of the game started narrating
"1.Pitch catch single hand out.
2. Full toss on the wall six- beyond the wall out.
3. Whoever hits the ball far -has to get the ball himself.
4. Whoever hits and breaks any nearby window glass - he himself must handle the anger of the house owner.
5. Three ball continuously wide then fresh over.
6. The umpire words must be the last word. No argument. "
The boy went on explaining when sonakshi came and patted the back of the boy's head playfully and said "Go easy boys. Pls don't intimidate him. I'm sure u all will enjoy with him. Let's start."
Sonakshi gave them a dazzling smile and obviously it worked on them and they happily made dev -part of their team.
It was Sunday.
As last two weeks Dev was very busy with his foreign clients and could not spend enough time with sonakshi he decided to spend the full day with her. But to his utter surprise she has taken him here.
They were in the ground behind their colony. Saurabh was in the opposite team. Elena was shooting this cheerfully with a handicam..
"Dev these are my friends " sonakshi pointing 8-9 boys who were almost in 10-12 years of ages..
" I boasted to them about you that "you are THE best in whatever you do.. Please prove yourself and make me proud.. And you are making big big deals.then this is sooo easy for you .Ok. All the best. " she gave him a quick hug removed his coat and tie and ran with them to sit on the nearby wooden bench..
Dev straightened himself. Yes I could do it i. I will do it for my girl. With a new found confidence he faced his first ball.
But alas! He could n't even touch the ball.
First ball.. Second ball.. Third ball.. Oh no.. The great Dev Dixit was fumbling with his cricket bat..
"Tch... Tch. ." a small boy who was one fourth of his height gave him a piteous look..
"Di.. Where did you get him?. Lookwise he is like a HERO But didn't even know how to bat.. I asked you to wait for my bhai who is working in London but you went and made him your boyfriend.. My brother is very good in cricket and also a state player.. Do you know " the same small boy in a checked red shirt announced..
"Whattt? " Dev got the shock of his life.
Oh no!! ! he has competitors every where.. He looked at sonakshi who was biting her nails nervously..
Saurabh came for his help. "Dev Babu. Have this bat. That one you are holding is so small for you. And don't worry. I have faith in you. Do well" he patted his back..
Dev muttered a thank you to him.
"Rishi pls give him a chance as he is new to the game" sauabh said pleadingly to the captain guy.
"Yes chotu. I have never participated in any games in school or in college though I love cricket the most. " Dev tried to explain his situation.
"Chotu????. You are overly grown and because of that will you call me chotu?. i am the tallest boy in my class.. ok " he flared his nose in anger..
"Hey ! He would be a first boy in India who didn't play cricket in his childwood I guess" _ another one in 'blue Indian cricket team T-shirt' said mockingly to his friend..
"He was studying hard and that's why now in a no1 position in his business " sonakshi drapped her arm around his torso and said proudly..
It was a aww moment of Dev . He felt so proud of himself than the moment he received best entrepreneur award of the year.
Then there was a no looking back.. No lagging behind.our super hero sent every ball into sixes and boundaries..
Dev forgot his age-his status-his responsibilities and mingled with the boys and became a school boy..
He enjoyed every moment and felt like he got back his lost childhood.
Sonakshi was watching him with a teary eye.
He ran for runs...
Got into an argument that he was not out..
Cheering his team. .
Jumping with joy when they were scoring more runs..
He became a child-an innocent child-
When sonakshi went into her house to bring some refreshments someone hugged her from the back..
"Dev what are you doing?. We are in my house. Do you remember? " sonakshi turned and put her hands on his chest..
"I clearly remember and I knew no one is here" Dev smiled mischeviously
"You did this for me haina? " he asked..
Sonakshi wiped all his sweat with her dupatta and straightened his hair with her fingers.
"Dev Whenever i am talking about my childhood memories there is a longing in your eyes.. I knew how you struggled in your childhood . Being the elder one- how destiny made you grew above your age . Sometimes I feel i were owning a time machine -bring you back to those days and erase all the worst memories of yours.. " the unconditional love for him shining in her deer like big beautiful eyes.
He overwhelmed by the amount of love she has for him and couldn't resist more- brought her close and slammed his lips on hers.
The kiss started as a gesture of gratitude and soon both got lost in the strange sensation of passion-longing-and landed in somewhere may be that was called as heaven..
He felt blessed-contented-bliss-serene in having her in his arms. She fitted in his arms aptly as that was the place meant for
-only for her..

Dev after gave all the medicines to ishwari- was sitting on his bed-remembering the blissful moments -caressing the stills in his phone fondly - which were captured in that cricket match .
Maa!! you are my God who gave me life - who sacrificed everything to bring me in this position but.. .
sonakshi is the one who brought colors to my life- she is the missing part of my life and without her I always feel incomplete..
Maa..I wish you understand this..
