It's All a Game! A Plan! Power Games of the Raichand's!

I think the so called Rape of Meenu was a ploy. It was all a plot to get Butterfarm to pull out of the deal and then have to pay double to get back into it. I feel the rape was either staged (as in Meenu agreed to have sex with Ranveer or someone else, or maybe she was with Ranveer) and later accuse him of rape. The story is sensational and goes viral everywhere. The Raichand stock starts to fall and Ranveer spends the night in jail. The next day either the story is refuted or in some way Ranveer is found not guilty. This leads to the "Ploy which is to when Butterfarm come back to the party and the Raichand's say "double or nothing. It's a calculated risk, or as RR puts it "a plan. Nothing is a risk if it's planned. That is exactly what was playing out.

Then comes the "Variable, because even in the most well laid plan, an unforeseen variable can change the equation. That variable was Anchal and then Kabir's reaction to Anchal. Between the two of them, they put a spanner in Ranveer's plan. Therefore he had to improvise. It's possible that Ranveer had Meenu killed as her being alive and the rape case continuing would become a liability for them. The shock factor was over. The job was done. Because of Meenu's Mother and Anchal getting involved she became a liability. But initially I believe she was very much a part of the plan. She was either helping her Boss or Boyfriend or both Ranveer to double his profit in a deal. Would not be the first time it happened and won't be the last. She would have been well compensated for her participation in the ploy. She was RR's PA and would have been privy to his plans.

There is a possibility she may have tried to threaten him, and that is what got a target over her head. Anything is possible. The only thing I am sure of is that Ranveer is not what he seems. Kabir is unhinged, and Sarika is shady. I am sure even Jatin Raichand will prove to be trouble. I have not seen the last episode, so don't know who Gaurav is and how he fits into this dynamic. But one thing is for sure, the Raichand's have more than just money on their hands, they have blood too!

I am Mandy by the way. So far enjoying Haasil and I hope it's more than a clichd love triangle and gives us something other than "shipping to do, coz that can get pretty old fast. Really looking forward to the Plot and the Thriller aspect of it. So far happy with the performances, but the OTT can be toned down a bit. ZK also needs to deliver his dialogues in such a way that we are convinced he is saying these things, not pretending to say them! That's my gripe on his score. But love the larger than life glossy element of the story. It's eye catching for sure.

Hope to read everyone's thought on the subject!

I am sorry but I can't agree to your theory. People as rich as raichands would never put their prestige on line for a measly 2000 crs (by their standards)
For them it is not only a matter of money. The family prestige also matters a lot and a few low class people including journalists pointing fingers at them would be intolerable for them

Has anyone ever seen the big business houses allowing even a single negative news being printed about them?

Yes it might have happened that the original plan was of framing someone else and ranveer was a part of it but later it boomeranged and ranveer himself got blamed.

Or kabirs and sarika might have ployed to trap ranveer with the help of meenu.

I am not sure why Raichands would want to put an allegation to their head for a mere deal.
Also RR has refused to sign the deal as well.

So I don't think for the deal they did all this

There is definitely something else

Ranvir is definitely not innocent...to what extent he is involved remains to be seen

New perception
I like how everyone is thinking
The show has made everyone think
The show should not be about which couple to ship

If Ranveer can give a crore to an employee on his birthday. 2K crores or even 4k seems like peanuts for a deal.

The guy ends up purchasing more land in the end to compete with ButterFarm rather than partner them... So why does he even need the deal.

Meenu story seems to be getting murkier and murkier by the day.

I had the same theory! I posted about this on a different thread a couple of days ago and I'm so glad that someone else thinks the same!

It's human nature - the more we have, the more we want. It doesn't matter how wealthy and powerful the Raichands are - profit is always the bottom line. Ranvir tells his father in Episode Four that they will charge Butterfarm double now, to clear their name. IMO the entire setup must have been his motive all along, which would only prove what insane lengths he'll go to secure a profit.

Again, it's like people who burn their own house or business down to claim insurance payouts which is, unfortunately, more common than we'd think. Ranvir risked his reputation for a business gain because he knew that ultimately, he would get away with it.

The other possibility is that again, Ranvir set the wheels in motion not only for financial gain but to test the loyalty of the people their company was going to get in bed with. After he is acquitted, Ranvir decides not to give them the deal at all because Butterfarm failed his test of loyalty, by halting the deal until he was declared innocent. They didn't show faith in him and so he rejected the deal which indicates that he values fidelity and honour over money. When he decides that Butterfarm has not been loyal, he declares that he'll run them into the ground by building a bigger and better amusement park opposite theirs. Classic INTJ move.

The man isn't a rapist. He isn't a murderer either, but he probably does have blood on his hands. One thing's for certain though, Ranvir Raichand is a big game player.
