CHAPTER 67

Arnav's pov

Sitting on the poolside I was blanking staring at the night and cursing myself. It has over 24 hours since she was missing and we didn't had even a single clue of her and the police said they were trying. I don't even know how she must be right now, how she she must be feeling.i know she is angry on me and I know I deserve every bit of her hatred as I know I was wrong but I am ready to do anything just to get her forgiveness.. today when they called me and I got the chance to hear her voice but she didn't talked to me.

"Don't say my name from my filthy mouth...

My words repeated in my mind. This one sentence I uttered had so much hatred, so much venom in it. I didn't wanted to hurt her ever but I was mad, I was wrong that without knowing the truth I blasted on her. atleast I should have given her one chance to say something inspite I kept blaming her and kept accusing her for things she would never do to me.

"Chotee. I heard Nani calling out for me as she placed her hand on my shoulder. I quickly wiped my tears which kept leaking from my eyes without permission. Sometimes I think she made me so weak, so vulnerable but there was feeling of fulfillers in this vulnerability. This weakness made me love someone, something which I was incapable of.

"Come eat something. She said.

"I am not hungry. I said.

"Don't be stupid...your sugar will drop. She said in a rought voice.

"I don't even know did she ate something or not...how can I eat? I said as tears once again flowed from my eyes and I let them flow.

"We can only pray that she is in good health Chotte. She said.

"I am so bad Nani...I forced her to go in such late hour.

"You insulted her so badly in front of everyone that she couldn't stay longer. Any girl would have done the same after you said loudly about the things which were supposed to be in between you two. She said in low voice and I looked down.

"But atleast we got to know the truth about this... she said throwing her hands in defeat.

"But...But I love her Nani. I said and she looked up at me.

"It's a bit late Chotte. She said nd I nodded knowing my words wouldn't matter to her now. the damage I did couldn't be amended by these words anymore.

"Come downstairs...everyone is on the dining table. she said and left and I watched her disappearing figure. She was right but its very hard o accept.

I walked in and saw her Coco sitting on his two legs and looking at me. I was no longer scraed of him, I guess. I picked up his bowl and filling in clan water and food I placed it in front of her.

"You too eat something. I saiod and he snuffed and walked away to her recliner. he sat under it and cooed. I know he was missing her. he cant spek but he doesn't need words to express his feeling for her.i walked downstairs and saw everyone including Payal and her mother sitting on the dining table. Everyone looked numb, too tired to react. They had been crying non stop ever since her news of her kidnap broke out. Everyone looked at me as I walked down the banister with anger filled in their eyes. I sat on my chair and the dinner was served but all the while my mind was on her.

"Payal...Payal...wait...Akash's sudden voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"I don't want to eat... She said.

"But it's important for you to eat. He said.

"I can't eat when I know my sister is in trouble because of me and this baby. She looked at me with anger filled eyes.

"You should have atleast listened to her...she was protecting me. she said and began crying and ilooked away.

"It's all my fault...I shouldn't have dragged her in my problems...see where I have landed her. she cried harder.

"Mummy...let's go...I cant stay here any longer. She said and aunty stood up.

"Why didn't you gave her once chance Arnavji...? Why didn't you trusted her? Aunty asked me.

"I am sorry. I muttered as the tears welled in my eyes.

"Can your sorry bring her back Arnavji? she asked me.

"I'll get her back safe...I promise. And saying that I walked back to my room locking myself in with her.

Khushi's POV

"W-Water...P-please...ater... I mumbled. My body was feeling terribly week and it felet moving a muscle would hurt e. I needed water, my throat was drying.

"P-pleas-please...I mumbled and tried to open my eyes my eyelids were way too heavy. Suddenly a loud splash of water on me jolted on skin making me all soaked in water. I yelped in pain and the sudden assault.

"You need water huh..? he asked and I nodded eagerly hoping he'll give me something to drink.

"Yesterday you were being so brave...what happened to that braveness... He said and yesterday? From how long I had been staying here?

"P-please...I begged.

"Wait let me show your husband your bravery... he said and after a few minutes silence I heard his voice.

"Hello Mr Raizada...

"What the hell you did to her? Bloody bast**d op-... before I could hear his voice longer a sharp pain hit my cheek making my ringing noise in a my ear fir few seconds.

"What did I said? Don't talk to us badly or your wife will bear the consequences. He said and I sobbed.

"I-I am sorry...please don't hit her...

"As you say Mr Raizada...but Mr Raizada do you really thought that getting police involved in this will help you get to your wife? he asked.

"I-I...

"We know that you are rich, you have connections, and you know all the officials...but get one thing in your head...if you didn't stop the police right now...I'll stop your wife life. he said.

"O-okay...but don't hurt her. I heard Arnavji's heavy voice.

"She is safe as long as you want.

"I'll do whatever you say.

"She already got her punishment I guess. he said and I felt his hand on skin of my face.

"Keep your hand away from her. he said loudly and my kidnapper laughed and by the conversation I could figure out that it was a video call.

"Khu-...

"Okay...now say bye to your husband. He said to me and I looked away and then there was a silence once again.

"Now since you are in our house so we have to take care of you...Drink. And there suddenly a bottle of water forced into my mouth. I couldn't breathe or I couldn't drink. I just kept coughing out the water.

"So good so far...now rest. He left me coughing struggling for air as I hears a loud thud of the door closing. Tears welled down from eyes thinking what had I don't that i am suffering so much once again in life as the cold air send chills down my spine.

Arnav's POV

I got Khushi's kidnappers call after 2 days and I saw her tied on a chair in a very uncomfortable position. Her eyes were covered and she was soaking in water in the cold weather. I rushed down to inform everyone about the call but then my eyes landed on everyone gathered in the living room upset.

"Why you did this? Akash asked payal.

"It was important.

"The baby was also mine. he retorted.

"But it wasn't important more than my sister. Suddenly her eyes landed on me and she came forward.

"I had an abortion Arnavji... she said and all the air from my lungs had been sucked out.

"Because of this baby my sister is suffering...so I...

"But you can't have an abortion without my consent. Akash said loudly as DI was sitting on the sofa holding her head in her hands and Nani consoling her.

"But I did. She said and I couldn't help myself from feeling guiltier. Khushi will never forgive me after what all is happening here.
