Wine and bad woman !!! - I am one...

You know..I feel so sad that they show all the vamps drinking wine.....I am a regular wine drinker and I also enjoy alcoholic drinks...does it make me bad like Tripti and Pallavi and the other BT vamps?

Why do they show all bad woman drinking wine or alcohol? why did Nandini need to take a wine glass to prove that she is bad....this mediocre mentality that woman who drinks, wears western clothes and dance disco are bad.....coz I do all of it and am not bad....

Its the "typical indian woman" potrayal that i don't like.....al good woman go to temple....wear sarees etc...and all bad woman are MBA and drink wine

I do not remember MBA degree holder women as being shown bad. But yes, it is shown that those who wear sarees and go to temple are good. And those who drink wine are bad. I agree with you that it is not correct to club all temple going and saree clad women as good and all wine drinking women as bad. Good and bad are in both groups.
However, let us see it in its context. In ksbkbt, it is being shown that Viranis do not take wine. Nothing wrong in that because it is their choice and it is their choice not to drink wine. Viranis are used to knowing Nandini as a person, who does not drink. Therefore, if one day, she is suddenly shown as drinking, then it is quite natural for them to be shocked. Nandini understood this and this is what she wanted meaning she wanted to shock them.

The ppl who drink wine r not bad. Do Drinking make ppl bad? I don't think so. Ekta needs to hire full time employs who would have some real experience of life. Illogical & u got 👎🏼 (Creative team. I mean)

I would say that it is believed that women should not consume alcohol or go clubbing in india...its thought that the woman has "A BAD ChARACTER" loll...its weird...but ppl in india hv this retarded mentality! 😕

so regressive!this is like the old hindi movies where the heroine drinks and sings a song to make the hero hate her.even bollywood has given up that idea now as it looks really silly.

you are so right....basically ekta does all this as a large part of her audience is the kind of public who judge the characters of people by these fundas....that is why these things can be done by vamps only......on the other hand its completelty ok if in her serials to show illegitimate children,multiple wives,rapes...what is more funny is inspite of so much pooja path,hawans...evil seems to win most of the time in nearly all her serials....height of hypocrisy& double standards❓
