It's honestly really heartwarming to see Shivika getting the opportunity to tackle legit/realistic issues even in the garb of light hearted comedy.
So what began yesterday with the Aunties triggering Anika's paranoia that Shivaay will lose interest in her when she's old continued today when Anika seemingly discovered a white hair...lol I'm still not sure if she just pulled a white hair out of her wig accidentally or it was a real white hair of her own😆...but it was enough to trigger a paranoid dream of buddhi Anika (complete with walking stick and quavering voice) being totally ignored by tadi maarne wala forever young Billu😆
But I honestly found Anika so cute even in her paranoia about old age...the way she was like, "Sab log mujhe Amma bulaayenge? Eeeks!"😆 and Shivaay was having all the fun at her expense seeing her getting so worked up about this...LOL today we got to see a Shivaay fully indulging in child-like goofing around...lol ek toh he was again having oh so much fun dropping the Punjabi accent in every few minutes, then he'd switch to just laughing when she'd grumble about his random fangirls...or tease her in such wily ways looking at her out of the corner of his eye...I had to marvel over seeing a Shivaay just so blissfully happy...it's a rare event for him in IB-land😆
...their little tickling bit😆😆...the faces he was making like, "God promise, maine kuch nahin kiya"😆
Anika complained about how he isn't looking at her since they got here toh he managed to stump her with a sixer, "Jab tumhein dekhta hoon toh phir aur kuch dekh nahin paata"😆...and then the return of Anika's famous, "Yeh kya kar rahe hain aap"😆
And then the segue into the wig removing bit...itneee pyar se karte hain yeh log simple sa moment bhi...all he did was remove her wig and caress her hair, but they added so much feel to this scene...some lovely expressions by NM-SC👏👏...SC especially looked SO pretty without the makeup.
I think I also appreciated this moment for the reverential quality to it...it wasn't the typical type of "romantic" scene...their expressions elevated it.
And then finally, would like to mention the very beginning and the way Shivaay took Anika's hand to pull her into the "All for One" moment...something so natural and poignant about it...the feeling of being a unit portrayed beautifully there also indicative of the progress their relationship has made.
So, based on the BTSs, looks like this old age insecurity track will continue tomorrow...lol it didn't really get addressed much today other than the little bit of Shivaay teasing Anika and tomorrow looks like he'll be doing more of the same but Anika might get emotional and that is when they might have a talk about it properly where he reassures her in his own way.
