S.S. Rajamouli Finds Ranveer Singh Menacing In 'Padmavati' Trailer

The trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum opus, 'Padmavati', has been showered with praises from everywhere. Twitter has been set on fire since the trailer arrived. B-town celebrities seem to be not getting enough of the grand scale the movie has been made on and S.S. Rajamouli's view is no different.

The helmer of India's biggest spectacle 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', Rajamouli, praised the trailer and called it 'insanely beautiful'. He wrote, 'Insanely beautiful !!!Each frame etched to perfection by the master craftsman. #PadmavatiTrailer.' The director also gave a shout out to Ranveer Singh for his portrayal of 'Alauddin Khilji'.

'@RanveerOfficial looks menacing and frightening yet can't take my eyes off him,' tweeted Rajamouli. After the trailer was released, even Amitabh Bachchan was left mesmerised with the trailer.

Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 'Padmavati' also stars Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. The flick is all set to hit the silver screen on December 1.

SS Rajmouli needs to watch Games of Thrones to really see how badass characters can get. Ranveer was cute and in one scene really funny (the one where they throw flowers). He was just not menacing enough though. 😊

It's huge coming from Rajamouli.

Bhallaladeva was as menacing as can be.

I don't understand why a director like Rajamouli who has showcased a character like Bhallaladeva has to watch GOT to understand the essence of a "Menacing" character?

Now people here are going to educate director like Rajamouli how to praise others and what he should be watching to understand negative characters? 😆 😆

Iam so glad that rajamouli didn't get influenced from game of thrones characters and what would he have learnt from it? Incest, torturing, burning alive, raping, paedophilia etc. etc 😆

Rajamouli had once mentioned that he was keen on doing hindi movie with Ranbir or Salman.I hope he doesn't get influenced by GOT and create something similar to that of GOT with Ranbir.
