Assumptions: SSO is still lying and hasn't accepted Annika yet. So Annika is still desperately trying to get the truth out...
This OS is dedicated to my lovely friends for this idea...
'kya karoun?!' Annika mumbled to herself in her room. Her blood was boiling just at the thought her husband was with another girl in their room! She trusted shivaay completely, but she still was in a mixture of pain and anger and worry for the stunt shivaay was pulling on her. Why refuse to recognise only her? He recognized their engagement ring, he recognised even gauri, but he was just ignoring her alone. Why? This question was haunting her!
If this is the way her husband was playing, then she'd upped her ploys too now. For this to work, she needed an ally. And who better than Dadi and omru.
Some hours later
Shivaay was in his room, cursing that girl Tanya. She hadn't left him alone for even one minute! Not to say, he was getting worried about annika now. Annika's absence could only mean that she was planning a big raita for him. He had been able to escape from all her plans till now, but who knew what his crazy wife was planning now. He hoped nothing that big because he didn't want to hurt her anymore and right now he wasnt even in a position to tell her the truth. Absent-mindedly, he was writing something on his laptop, when suddenly pinky burst in. She was crying and came to him in an angry stance!
'how could you do something like this?! How could you?!' pinky was asking him angrily!
What did he do now?! He looked confusedly at Tanya standing near the pool and at Mrs pinky Singh oberoi. Not even fake memory loss could make him forgive her, so instead of asking her for clarifications, he completely ignored her.
Pinky went away after cursing him some more. Soon people cheering and laughing out aloud could be heard from his room.
'why is everyone making so much noise?' shivaay thought to himself. When the noise hadn't stopped for some more time, shivaay's curiosity was too big now. He stood up and started to leave his room, and as expected Tanya followed him closely.
The noise seemed to be coming from Annika's room. The scene which met both eyes' were too confusing.
Annika was sitting on a couch, and everyone was talking to her. Soon Dadi brought something to eat, Ru brought water and juice, jhanvi was busy tucking her and covering her with a cover, Tej and Shakti were happily talking about babies. Om was busy asking his bhabhi if she needed anything.
From the eyes of shivaay, he could see that everyone was pampering Annika?! But why? Sudden fear that she was sick almost made him run inside, but fortunately Tanya held him back.
Taking a deep breath, and because he had to know what was happening, he brushed Tanya's hold on him and entered the room in full tadibaaz SSO mode.
'what the hell is happening here?' he asked angrily, 'why is this girl still here! This is a house, not a market place!'
Annika looked at him with a 'are you crazy look' and then ignored him completely. Infact the whole family spared him only one glance, as if he was a naughty kid, and then everyone ignored him and continued pampering and surrounding annika.
This was too much now. Already he was scared about his Annika, and noone was even telling him anything. And how dared his whole family ignore him? Though he was happy his whole family was with Annika, needless to say he was feeling a tidbit jealous now. He would have killed to be among them right now, but alas he had Tanya now.
Taking a deep breath, he again asked them what is happening? But everyone continued to ignore him. Finally one person, the one he least expected, who was passing by annika's room right then told him the good news or should we say the miracle news!
'she's pregnant! How could you do this?! Didn't you think how she isn't worthy of you and your kids?' pinky said with venom behind him!
'pinky, stop it!' Dadi, shakti, tej and jhanvi chorused together.
Mumbling something like 'no-one undertand me', pinky left from there. But no-one cared about pinky anyway. Everyone was too busy staring at shivaay, trying to understand what he was thinking.
Pregnant! His Annika was pregnant! His Annika was pregnant?! 'fhat the wuck!'
'this can't be true!' shivaay shouted.
'really? How would you know?! Your hard disc crashed afterall!' Annika replied back.
'stop it! You can't be pregnant! This is impossible!' shivaay repeated.
'haye meri 2rs kismat! First he didn't recognise me! Now he doesn't accept that I'm pregnant!' annika started with her nautanki.
soon the whole family was standing against him and shouting at him not to hurt their bahu.
Before he could do more raita, he felt himself being dragged away by Tanya.
'i didn't do anything, I didn't even kiss her! How can she be pregnant?! He tried to think if at anytime in previous weeks, he could have done something? Perhaps when drunk! Or perhaps when drugged after taking his medicines' he thought! He was too shocked to even think that this might be annika's ploy. He couldn't believe his own 2rs kismat now, that he made annika his and didn't really remember their first night...
That's all... Depending on the response, I might make this a two-shot.
