Jacquie has been clear from the beginning .. I've read in a few of her earlier interviews about how she admires Katrina being an outsider but still making it big. She has always been eyeing similar roles and similar personality (as Katrina) for herself. In fact, she went to as far as dating Sajid Khan hoping her to be her ladder to success much like Salman Khan was for Katrina. And when Sajid himself started going down, Jacquie did not waste any time and just left him.

sajid really saved her though

she was almost about to sign for raaz 3 (esha gupta's role) but he sat her down and told her that these B grade movies no matter how big a hit..will put you in B grade lot and will leave you with no career anyway

considering what happened to bipasha with raaz 3 being a hit...nothing!

what happened to esha gupta..

what happened to ksg..zarine..daisy after hate story 3 being a hit

one realizes how right he was..

he really gave jacki the right guidance though..or else would have done raaz 3 and be a B grade actress today..

Frankly, she absolutely bores me. Yeah she's gorgeous but I can never sit through her IVs. Such overtly sweetness & giggles etc are not my cup of tea.

She's picking the right roles. And anyhow, how many mainstream actresses with some level of BO success are there right now? Of course they can't do and don't want to do every flowerpot role so Jacqui also gets a chance.

Also she fits the hot glamour role requirement pretty well which likes of Parineeti who are sort of jobless right now can't fill. And lastly even though she's a great "networker" you can't not like her. She's too sweet like genuinely sweet.

She's a butterface but is very glamorous, knows how to network productively (linked to Salman, Dhawan, Nadiadwala bffs with Sonam & thus the Kapoor family etc) knows how to stay in the news. She isn't here to be the next Vidya Balan & is playing to her strengths. She has that perfect image to do well in glamorous films/roles. Good for her.
