I feel like there are times when he has been too vocal about his feelings when he probably should have been more guarded. Also he took for granted when he was at the top that there wouldn't be a competition for him and left a lot of the work that he could have done. His fights with music directors or composers or actors or companies are quite a lot. He lost out on a lot of work coz of that I feel. His position in the industry today would have been different had he not been so vocal about certain things that he was.

Although people in the industry generally acknowledge that he is the best singer today, they don't really give him a lot of work.

Lata even had a fight with the city, Mumbai city once over "flyover" issue and threatened to leave the city if the flyover was built...

Lol. Actually that is too funny. Just imagine what she must be saying for music today. I really hate to think.

She even said she reconciled with Rafi and agreed to sing with him again only after she got an apology letter from him
