Priyanka Chopra to be honoured at Variety's Power of Women.

We can all agree that within a span of a few
years, Priyanka Chopra can proudly exclaim
that she is a global icon. The actor who
became a worldwide phenomenon when
she starred as Alex Parrish in ABC's show
Quantico has been making India proud.
Now, the 35-year-old actress will be
honoured at the Variety's Power of Women.
The event will take place October 13 at the
Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons. This year's
event honours Priyanka Chopra (UNICEF),
Kelly Clarkson (QX Super School), Patty
Jenkins (Anti-Recidivism Coalition), Michelle
Pfeiffer (Environmental Working Group), and
Octavia Spencer (City Year). All of the
honorees will be featured on the covers of
the October 10 issue of Variety.
Recently, Priyanka was amongst the
ambassadors for the Global Citizen Festival.
An event for the same was held recently for
which Priyanka was a part of the festivities.
She hosted the event in Central Park, New
York to a humungous crowd who were all
cheers for our desi girl. She was joined by
celebrities like Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o,
pop sensation Demi Lovato, actress Freida
Pinto, actress Michelle Monaghan, Mayor Bill
de Blasio amongst others. At the event,
Priyanka looked gorgeous in a white mini
dress with red blot print in the front and
black on the back with matching thigh-high
boots.
On the work front, Priyanka will soon
commence shooting for Quantico's Season
3. Unlike the first two seasons which had 22
episodes each, Season 3 will have only 13
episodes. The actress also has two
Hollywood projects under her kitty - A Kid
Like Jake starring Jim Parsons, Claire Danes,
and Octavia Spencer as well Isn't It
Romantic? starring Rebel Wilson, Adam
Devine, and Liam Hemsworth.
