You leave the battle, but the battle doesnt leave you

That's what is happening to Adhiraj. His perceptions. He expected the DNA report to be negative, he was so sure of it. Anami told him she wanted to go to Benaras. He thought she is not the daughter of Baldev and Satrupa and is a kidnapped girl. He didnt try to understand why Anami want to go to Benaras.

Also Anami didnt demand DNA test. It was Satrupa who asked it and it was he who told her about DNA test. He doesnt know Anami actually tried to make his perception truth and he doesnt know if Anami had won then truth would have lost in the court. He doesnt understand truth won, because as per his perception this is not the truth.

It is the belief of the days of Galileo where church ordered to kill him because he told it is not the sun is moving, but the earth is moving. For telling earth is not the centre of solar system, sun is. It was truth, but for telling truth that man had to die because it was against the beliefs of people of those times.

Your perceptions make the battle follow you and destroy you too. He accused his father of a man who had run away. Before accusing him, he had to know what his father went through, what were his options especially when he had a wife and two little children to take care of. As a family man's most important duty will be to protect his family from any harm and a war meant harm to his family he might prefer to stay away from it. But then it fester the wounds of the child the way it has happened for Adhiraj. He wanted his father to fight as I feel he was old enough to understand what happened to his father was injustice.

And where do we see him going with perceptions. Rash driving, hitting a tree and drinking. A no nonsense CBI officer is lost in his past. He is lost in Lal Mahal and has allowed that Lal Mahal to burn him.

But neither Anami nor his father is the cause of the burn, it is his own perception. The day he is able to come out of the illusions or perceptions the battle will leave him. He will be able to focus more on the justice for what it is.

Yes it is his perception that is controlling all his actions and reactions..he a no nonsense CBI officer fails to think properly because of this perception and his emotions(hatred and revenge)attached with LM thatswhy he has been unable to see through everything happening with and around him. He is thinking Anami a normal girl trapped by Satrupa and if DNA test comes out negative,he can charge Satrupa and with the behaviour of Anami,he was 100% sure of the result..But if it comes out positive,then how it is Anami's fault? Do he think that Anami tampered the result?if so then then how it was possible with so tight security? Was not it his and CBI's failure?And how can he be so sure that the tampering(acc. to him) was done by Anami but not Satrupa? And if that happens then she must have done something more that she did earlier to Anami to stay her back in LM.Can't he think about that being a CBI officer?He really disappointed me as a CBI.Forget that,how can a CBI officer behave such a way that behaved while with Ila? Similarly it is very easy to blame his father for not fighting but did he ever place himself in his position and think?

Coming to Adhiraj and Anami being cousins, if Adhiraj's mother is Baldev's sister then in certain communities cousin marriages do happen between sister child and brother child.

@twinkle Adhiraj just has a CBI mask for entering LM. It was actually a conflict of interest case for him which rightly pointed out by his father he shouldnt have taken. Because his emotional involvement with LM will cloud his objective view point. With revenge against LM foremost in mind how can he be objective and impartial in investigation. You simply cannot. It is going to be a very turbulent ride for Adhiraj as his involvement with LM gets deeper.

So yes, he is not son in law. What about being son equivalent or the girl daughter equivalent. Maybe a very close friend's son/daughter. The friend's family passed away and Vikram took care of the child. i guess it will be son only and maybe he loved that son more than Baldev due to Baldev's way ward ways.

He had some important position also in Royal Steel which Pujan didnt like and maybe with the help of Baldev he trapped Dheeru and Vikram believed Pujan and not Dheeru. Same way he believes pujan more than Satrupa now.

Adhiraj has given up too early in my belief and expected too much as well. He expected the DNA test to come out negative. Why would it come out negative if Satrupa herself is requesting it to prove to everyone that Anami is Baldev and her daughter?

Yet you are right. Adhiraj thought the battle was done. He would win. Anami's DNA test would be negative, Satrupa would be shunned, and he would get his first revenge. But he hasn't. In his belief, he lost this battle, but it's far from over.

In his blindness and his loss, his perceptions have taken him too far. He believes his father to be a runaway, to be a coward. He believes his father chose to hide and use him for his revenge than to take revenge himself. Similarly he believes Anami to be a gold-digger and a user. He believes she chose to lead him on and pretend to hate Lal Mahal and want to leave to get the DNA test done. In his anger, his perceptions have blinded him and let him believe what he wants. Sounds contradictory, but it's not. It's a circle, another chakravyuh. A perception blinds him, but his blindness leads to incorrect perceptions.

And I agree with you. The day he realizes that he needs to broaden his mind and come out of his perceptions, the battle will leave him and instead it will be a fight for justice and a race to do right by the right people and punish the wrong.

Also I was just thinking. Dheeru could be a cousin's son or something like that as well who Vikram considered more his son than Baldev or Pujan. It would explain why Pujan and Baldev trapped Dheeru and had him arrested. Vikram may have been planning to adopt him to give him the royal steels and with the arrest that went out the door. It's also possible that Pujan then went on to trap Baldev in his own wayward ways and prove to Vikram that he doesn't deserve the royal steels so that Pujan could be adopted and given the royal steels, but that never happened.

Adhiraj thought his experience as a CBI officer, his mask as a CBI officer will get him revenge fast. And that was his biggest misconception when he lost the objectivity in the whole investigation.
