All started crying seeing Raman's grandfather dead, while Raman was shocked to no end. He shaked his grandpa and call his name but in vain. He didn't reacted making everyone cry even more louder. All start crying while ishita got scared, as though she knows the meaning of being dead but she has never seen any death infront of her eyes. And now seeing all this infront of her, she was scared to no end. She hide her face in Toshiji and was seeing what's going on, by sneaking a little. Toshiji was also holding her tight as she knows ishita must be scared.
Everyone were crying ,the whole hospital was filled with the people of the village and all were crying on his death making the scene more heart wrenching and scary for ishita, she was just hiding more into toshiji.
Mr bhalla look at Raman, he was too shocked to react. He was going to raman to support him but his eyes fell on equally scared ishita .he decided to go to ishita first. He went to ishita and asked caressing her hair -what happened puttar, why u r so scared.
Ishita show at Raman's grandpa and burst into tears. Mr bhalla hugged ishita tight and start caressing her while she was go on crying.
Mr bhalla -toshiji, call her parent and inform them about this. He said to toshiji but she was also equally shocked to react anything.mr bhalla shaked toshiji and she said with moist eyes -bhalla ji, papa ji nahi rahe.
Mr bhalla took her in side hug too and took phone from her hand to call Mr iyer himself.
He called Mr iyer,he was in his house, he picked the call and said -hello,bhabhi ji, kaisi hai aap. Ishu jyada tang toh nahi kar, he was saying but stopped hearing everyone crying. He got scared and said -sab thik hai naa wahan.
Mr bhalla -actually not, can u please come here. He said making mr iyer scared.
Mr iyer -haan main aa jaunga, but hua kya. Ishita, ishu thik toh hai naa. He said making Mrs iyer scared too. She came to Mr iyer and asked what happened. Mr iyer hold her to wait.
Mr bhalla -haan, ishita thik hai. But my father passed away and she is just so scared, we r taking care of her but u r her father, u can handle her more well. Actually raman is also too shocked, toh I have to take care of him too .
Mr iyer -yes yes, I am getting what u r saying. U don't worry, we r coming. Kal subah tak pahunch jayenge, Aap tab tak dekh lenge naa ishita ko.
Mr bhalla -yes don't worry, she is with us.
Mr iyer -thank u, actually she has never seen all this, toh jyada ghabra gayi hogi.
Mr bhalla -I Am understanding Mr iyer, waise bhi she is just a kid. Bade bade log ghabra jaate hai.
Mr iyer -thanks for informing, we r coming. And really sorry for ur loss, hope his soul rest in peace.
Mr bhalla -thank u, he said and hung the call. Then he said toshiji to take ishita back to haveli with other ladies while he will be with raman and his brothers to complete the formality.
Toshiji nodded and was going with ishita wheh Mr bhalla hold toshiji's hand and told her not to leave ishita alone as she is their responsibility till the time her parent reach. Toshiji nodded with moist eyes. Mr bhalla took toshiji in side hug and said -dont worry, everything will be fine.
Toshiji just sobbed and then Mr bhalla went to his mother, being the eldest son, he had to be with her. She was crying bitterly hugging his younger brother, when Mr bhalla went to her. She start crying hugging him. He too cried for his father hugging his mother and finally went to raman,who was sitting near his bed and was crying. Mr bhalla went to him and hugged him tightly. Raman start crying more bitterly in his father's arms.
Raman -papa, dadu nahi rahe. He left us alone. He was saying and crying while Mr bhalla was just consoling him.
Slowly the time start passing and arrangements were started to take the body home. Mr bhalla being the eldest was doing everything, from consoling everyone to completing all the formalities.
It was four in morning when they took the body home, they reached and saw the whole village was gathered there and was crying.
Mr bhalla look around and saw toshiji sitting in a corner with her sister in laws.he looked around to find ishita but she was nowhere.
He went to toshiji and asked about ishita.
Toshiji -woh so rahi hai, she was too scared so I made her sleep.
Mr bhalla -ok, is anyone with her.
Toshiji nodded in no and said -everyone is here only.
Mr bhalla -ok, let me go and check her. Choti bachchi hai, darr gayi hai. He said to which toshiji nodded. They were talking while Mr bhalla's second wife was seeing this from the core of her eyes. Her eyes were moist seeing them so comfortable with each other even after years. She didn't said anything and just went inside.
Mr bhalla was going upstairs when his mother fainted because of continuous crying. His brother call him and went running to them. All make his mother sit and gave water to drink. Mr bhalla got busy and couldn't go to ishita, so he called raman and told him to check on ishita.
Mr bhalla -she is alone in the room puttar, she comes here with u,so she is ur responsibility. Go and check on her, she was too scared because of all this.
Raman nodded and went upstairs. He opened the door and went inside only to see her sitting on the bed and was crying hiding her face in between her lap. Raman got worried seeing her like this and ran to her.
Raman took her in a tight hug and said -kya hua gudiya, ro kyun rahi ho.
Ishita who was crying bitterly got relieved hearing his voice and hugged him tight.
Ishita -mujhe darr lag raha hai yahan akele.
Raman -toh neeche chalo.
Ishita nodded in no and said -nahi, neeche nahi jaana. Neeche sab ro rahen hai, mujhe appa paas jaana hai.
Raman -appa is coming gudiya, tum so jao. Appa savere aa jayenge.
Ishita -tab tak Aap raho naa yahan. Mujhe sach mein bahut darr lag raha hai. She said snuggling more into Raman.
Raman couldn't leave her like this, so he nodded and make her lay down. He start patting her while his ears were on the happenings going downstairs. He so wanted to go and be with his family in the hard time but couldn't go leaving ishita alone, as now she badly want him beside her.
He was patting her lost in his thoughts while she slept immediately feeling his warmth.raman got up to go downstairs but she was holding his hand tight. He tried to release his hand and she stir in her sleep sobbing. He again sat to her and start waiting for someone to come to her so that he can go downstairs.
