Chapter 3
Neil had thought enough it's the time he let juhi know the truth that he had moved on. DD came to the apartment to tell Neil about amol's arrest and how he is now transferred to the other jail. Though he knew Neil was sad because of sudden entry of juhi.
" sir everything is done .amol will never come in front of avni bhabhi " said DD.
Neil nodded his head.
"sir I know it's personal life but are you planning to leave avni bhabhi? "asked DD curiously. He never wanted avni and Neil to split.
" what do you think DD? I will do. Do you think it's so easy to leave avni when she has become my everything nor it is easy to tell juhi that she no longer exists in my world. My world now lies in avni " said Neil.
DD did not reply anything and went away knowing that he could not help Neil Now.
Neil opened his cupboard and found juhi's photographs . Neil took the photographs in his hands and looked at it.
" I'm sorry juhi it's time to let go of my past otherwise it will destroy mine and avni's present. U may call me a cheater or anything but I don't have or give the love you want from me now " said Neil looking at juhi's photographs.

Avni opened the door of the house after the door was knocked fourth time. She almost did not hear the knocks because she was too engrossed in her thoughts. She and neela had gone to visit amol and he had confessed everything. The flashback till played in her mind.

"why did you do this amol " said avni not able to believe the truth.
" to get rid of you avni. I hate you because of you my grandma is in jail " said amol angrily.
Avni slapped him and said " I will never forgive you amol not for hurting me but for trying to kill Neil. When you meet dayavanti mehta next time tell her she has won she had killed my innocent brother Aman. The person standing in front of me is just amol mehta her grandson not my brother. Do me a favor never tell anyone for what you are being arrested. If anyone hears that you have tried to sell ur own sister in brothel the trust on the word brother will go away " .
Avni went away and neela followed her.
Avni sat in the car and cried. Neela clams her down.
" maa for whom I did this things the same brother had done the worst to me. Why everything goes wrong in my life " said avni.
" it's nothing like that. Let's go away from this country. Where no one will hurt you " said neela.
Avni agreed. Neela dropped avni in the house and went to make arrangements for them to leave the country.
Neela knew she what she was going to do was not correct it's not that she does not have trust on Neil but she fears for her daughter what if avni goes to depression?. For time being she will shift avni out of the country and then ask neil sort out of things here . When things are right she will call back avni. She knew Neil will make things right.

Avni was shocked to see juhi standing in the door and did not know how to react .
" avni is Neil here? "asked juhi.
" no " said avni.
" sorry he did not come home so I thought he could have come here to apologize to you " said juhi.
" he maybe in his flat " said avni.
" thanks. I should leave now " said juhi and went away.

Juhi was relieved when she found Neil was not that avni's house. She did not understand Why Was she worried about Neil and avni's relationship? Shweta aunty has said her it was just namesake but what she saw was different. She had seen the way Neil had hugged avni in the brothel and how angry was he at the people who made her cry, he was protective of avni .he had kissed avni's forehead to assure her she was safe. When avni left the house she saw Neil eyes depicting pain. Has neil moved on? Has he started loving avni?. It was not hard to find out avni is in love with Neil who would not fall in love with him? But did neil have the same feelings for avni? Juhi's heart knew the answer but brain refused to accept it. Juhi wanted to fight for Neil for her love. She can't let go of neil so easily without a fight. A fear came in her mind what if neil asks her to go out of his life? What will she do? Will she be so selfless to let him go? Juhi was afraid to take a decision.

" maa are the flight tickets ready? "asked avni to neela on phone.
" has anything happened avni? " asked Neela.
" nothing maa. It's just I want to go far away soon " said avni hiding her tears.
" ha beta we will be leaving tomorrow "said neela.
Avni ended the call. How could she tell her mother that she was afraid to face Neil Now and seeing Neil with juhi kill her ? She could not afford to be broken again? Why does life play cruel games with her? Does love written in her destiny or she did not deserve it? Thought avni.
Avni had taken a decision to run away before love breaks her further.

Chapter 4
Juhi was going back to Neil's house when she got a call from Neil.
" where are you neil? I am so worried " said juhi from the other end.
" juhi can you please come to the flat where I'm now. I will message you the address " said Neil .
" but Neil anything important .what happened? " said juhi.
" it's very important juhi. Please come. " said Neil and cut the call before juhi could refuse him.
Juhi was confused what did neil want to tell her and why was she getting afraid of it. Juhi stopped the cab in front of the building and went towards the flat and knocked the door.
Neil opened the door and was relieved to find juhi .
"come inside juhi " Neil asked politely.
Juhi entered the flat and was looking at it when her eyes stopped at the photos hanged on the walls of the place it was avni and Neil's moments.
Juhi felt uncomfortable. Neil saw juhi's reactions he knew it was hurting her and it would hurt more but it is better to get hurt Now then afterwards.
" juhi take a seat " said Neil.
Juhi sat down not knowing anything. She had a blank expression.
Neil cleared his throat and spoke " look juhi what I'm going to say is not going to be easy for you. But it's better to know the truth than regretting later. This flat is one of the best thing of my life not because I brought it from my salary but because my life's beautiful moments were spent here with avni. I had loved you to death once juhi and I accept it. "
Neil stopped speaking waiting for juhi's reactions he did not want to emotional drain her.
" please continue to speak Neil. I think you are right in your place. It's better to face the truth than be in illusion " said juhi in her choked voice.
" ur death actually shattered me and forced me to become acp Neil khanna. The guilt of not saving you made me mad it was then I decided that what if I did not save you I still could save others and lessen my guilt that's how Neil khanna became acp and like always my family supported me. I never wanted to marry again juhi but my family wanted See me happy so I agreed marry Riya the one whom my mother chose for me. " Neil said remembering the events till here, he was getting emotionally drained again going through the same things which he wanted to erase, juhi's death it gives him nightmares. But he had to speak up.
" I agreed to marry Riya maybe because she never expected or saw through my facade I was trying to give the relationship a chance but then she entered avni or shall I say ananya. If I believed I had a put a facade in front of the world she had put bigger one she always used to give me strange feeling and vibes. First I thought it was police instincts it was later I realized she had arose the feeling which I had shut in my life after you left. I had almost called her your name when I was once going to lose her. That was the time I realized I should control my feelings for me I was engaged to someone else how can I have feeling for avni ?. Then the marriage time I was confused and unsure of my decision but when I saw avni as a bride instead of Riya I was shocked but I was happy somewhere in my heart .I tried to make her away from me but destiny had other plans. Unknowingly helping her and bringing her out from darkness I came out of the hurt and darkness .I truly started living my life again and it took time but I finally realized I loved her. Avni is my life now juhi. I can't live her now. " Neil finally spoke out all his emotions out.
Juhi listened and saw Neil's expression when he used to speak about avni it always had love in it and pride. It was time for her to leave yes she was Neil's past and his first love but now Neil had moved on and she held no place in his life she was just beautiful and painful memory of his life.
" thanks Neil for telling this otherwise I could always be in illusion. All the best for your life. I will pack luggage and move out " said juhi in broken voice.
" juhi it's not needed u can stay how much time u want here " said Neil concerned.
Juhi smiled through the tears hearing it and spoke " u know Neil maybe you have changed so much but till you have the same goodness in you . I have to go Neil for myself . I have to move on Neil it's impossible if I am here. I am happy for you Neil but seeing you with avni really hurts. I'm going bye. U were my first love Neil and will be always. "
Juhi walked slowly out of the flat.
As juhi went out tears streamed out from Neil's eyes. He had finally bide farewell to his past. Neil's phone rang and he picked up seeing neela's name .wiping his tears, he spoke up.
" haa neela maa what happened? "
" Neil avni is leaving the country it was planned after some days but I don't know what made her Pretpond it. When I came back I found a letter of hers revealing that she is leaving to Canada where one of her friend resides. I'm worried my intention was not to send avni away. From past few days she was looking depressed so I thought to send her away after talking to you . Neil stop her please " said neela from the other end of the call.
" u don't worry I will stop her " Neil said and cut the call.
He hurriedly went out of the flat.
Neil was driving the car towards airport . Neil shivered by the thought of avni leaving him? Was he too engrossed in his emotional turmoil that he did notice avni's insecurities or tried to reduce that . damn he should have cleared her all misconceptions when she left his house itself. He can't live without her, Neil could survive without juhi but without avni his life will become living hell he loved avni a way too much.
Neil reached the airport and enquired about the flight to Canada.
"sir the flight has just flown " said the receptionist looking at Neil's bloodshot eyes .
Neil walked away without answering anything. He stood near the car and was controlling his emotions. Then he saw someone's back who was sitting in a corner which looked like avni's and the Saree also matched. Having no hope Neil went and patted the person's back and only to get surprised and relieved that his avni did not leave him she was here and he pulled avni to a bone crushing hug which she reciprocated equally. Neil sobbed and avni did the same.

Avni's emotions were controlling her from when juhi left. She phoned to neela maa to know when she would leave this place away from Neil .Neela replied it would take time,she understood and cut the call. From then her heart was telling aloud to go to Neil, avni understood that if she would be more in this city she would really become selfish and go to Neil and claim her rights on him though she had nothing so she decided to leave the city for good. She can't be selfish right and spoil Neil and juhi's happiness . Avni called her Canada friend and booked the flight tickets for the night and left the house writing a letter to neela maa. With hurt and tears in her heart avni left the house and came to the airport. Avni was waiting for boarding the flight when the announcement was made and she was moving when her manglasutra fell down from her luggage. She picked up and ran out of the airport and sat crying in a corner .she could not leave and not know the reason for it . As she continued sobbing she turned to see someone patting her back to find Neil. What was he doing here? Thought avni. Neil took avni in a bone crushing hug and she reciprocated it. Neil sobbed so did avni. Neil broke the hug gently and cupped her face.
" where were you going avni leaving me. Did not you think of me? " said Neil .
"Neil I was going to leave because of you only. I did not want to be hindrance between you and juhi " said avni in broken voice.
Neil was furious Now.
" what are you waiting for. Leave " said Neil angrily.
" Neil I'm sorry I'm going " said avni. Maybe she should have left.
Avni was walking away when Neil pulled her towards him. Avni looks at him.
" what should I do to you avni? Can't you see I love you that's the reason I came here. I agree I loved juhi but not anymore I love only you now " said Neil finally.
Tears of joy and happiness came out from her eyes she could not believe her good luck. He loved her and the man whom she loved reciprocated her love what more she wanted.
"what about juhi? "asked avni. Had she broken juhi's heart.
" I have said her that I love you only and she understood " said Neil.
" OK come we will go to home " said avni calmly and was walking towards the car.
Neil was shocked for one moment. He confessed his love and she said a ok just a ok not done.
Neil went and sat in the car. He drove the car showing his annoyance to avni but avni did not respond. She was enjoying it. She knew Neil was desperate to hear her confession. Not so easily.
The car stopped in front of the house.
" that's it you will not confess ur love. If you are avni neil khanna even I'm ur husband Neil khanna. I will make you confess here only " Neil smirked.
Avni removed her seat belt and was going to unlock the door when Neil pulled her towards him she was few miles away from his lips what was he planning to do.
" what are you doing Neil "avni said.
" what should I do? " Neil said in the most seductive voice and leaning towards her.
"leave me "said avni.
Neil came over her top and kissed her cheeks leaving avni shocked. Avni's heart was beating so fast as Neil was going to kiss her lips when avni was trying to push me away.
" Neil is it the time to romance " scolded avni.
" so where should I romance and I'm not going to leave you " said Neil.
Avni saw bebe approaching towards the car.
" Neil look bebe is coming towards the car. If she saw us like this leave ". Said avni pleadingly.
" fine I will leave you. But what would I get? " Neil asked.
"what should I do? " said avni.
" tell the three words avni " said Neil huskily leaning towards her ear .
Avni would not do anything.
" I love you neil " avni said happily. Before avni could continue Neil placed his lips against her soft lips and kissed her with full passion and avni was too lost in the kiss she forgot bebe was standing outside and reciprocated the kiss with equal passion but as they broke the kiss for breathing she saw bebe running away from the car window laughing. Avni pushed Neil away and went from the car blushing leaving Neil smiling.
