Well, with or without Anami's efforts Baldev is ultimately going to realize she is indeed his daughter and is as much upset as he is towards Satarupa. And then he is going to eat his words, and earn her confidence. This transition will not be that fast. I only wish they showed his moments of musing over the latest chain of events.

i know it will change eventually ... but it would have been sad if Anami craved for his love (not gonna happened ever as Anami got a great loving father) and he neglected ... the way he acts with Narotham

i also was thinking on the same line

its said love and hate are two facade of coin there is a very thin boundary between love and hate

so ifeel the day anmi will know her mother she will love her more than anyone else and will even heal her with her infinite unconditional love

but i fear the day shje realises the truth she may loose her forever so i pray it not get tooo late

because satrupa is very very strong woman something biggest of big will happpen only that can break her othertwise its hard to crack her

Right now Baldev's judgment is clouded by the fact that he believes Anami to be a plant. That Satrupa is playing him and the family to get the royal steels for herself. No matter what Satrupa does he won't believe Anami to be his daughter.

The day Satrupa stops trying and Baldev takes a moment to understand Anami's thinking, even if he overhears her talking to Pagli Panditayan on the phone or something, he'll finally start seeing Anami in a new light. Then he'll see Vatsalya in Anami and grow closer to her.

I do understand why he treats Narottam the way he does. Narottam was the reason he was disowned and lost his chance to run the royal steels. Not only that Narottam turned out to be effeminate, which adds insult to injury. Even if someone raised Narottam that way, in Baldev's eyes it's just another insult. So for him Narottam represents everything that went wrong with his life and that's why Baldev treats Narottam so badly.

Baldev over the years of his father's un-acceptance and his wife's distance had turned himself into an unmoving stone, or so he thinks. Which is why he has convinced himself that his wife is doing everything for power and that he could not and would not have had a child he dint know off.

And with it there is also a dashed hope that how could she, Satrupa, have kept the fact that he had fathered a girl away from him. And the hurt has now given rise to rebellion.

However, deep down he is still a man whose capable of love and affection and a man whose capable of showcasing his emotions too. And the day he realises what Anami means to him, will be the day, he would accept her, willing and wholeheartedly.

I had my pinned on Baldev's character in the initial days.but the ego tussle between miya-biwi were the only things that we are getting from his character.

I would have loved had they shown his point of view too in between.Also Anami-Baldev interactions.Still waiting for all that.

But the way he is indifferent to Narottam's treatment is 🤢

I so want to see more involvement on his Baldevs part.. unfortunately right now it's all about Satrupa and Vikramaditya with a bit of Gayatri

Would be great to see things from Baldevs perspective..apart from his tussle with Satrupa they don't show much of him

I mean I still don't know why he dislikes Narottam so much..

Add to that his feelings about Anami..except his denial..they don't show anything else

Hopefully they will focus a bit on him too

I expect Sudha to land in LM one of these days. I expect Pujan to be instrumental for bringing her in. He might want to be the jackal between the two figting goats 😉

Focus will completely be on Baldev then 😆

Mira she does care for him, if not she would have never remembered his very first statement, a father didn't know about his daughter (something like that)

She might not be fully perceptive towards Baldev's state of mind, but one thing she picked up is unlike her matlabi mathaji, this man's issue is not with her but issue is with the woman who claims Anami is the daughter!!

Unlike a Pujan that she responded to, so far Baldev hasn't got the taste of her sharp tongue except that terrace scene but that too she told him back what he stated.

@baldev: haha..true..once Sudha comes focus will shift to Baldev..I just hope he gets a bit of screentime before that happens so that they can lay the groundwork

Exactly, his character has not developed like others. Gayatri is or atleast was the most underrated character of LM. When Vatsalya died I thought she is a step mother to baldev because she unlike Vikram didnt break down at all. She rather warned Vikram against Satrupa. However, her transition was beautiful. I also want Baldev to remember Satrupa's pregnancy days like Gayatri. Gayatri had an intuition about Satrupa deliveerig twins. He too must had his expectations then. Its time they tell us more about Baldev.

He is the one with same repetitive dialogues with same frustrated expressions. I think its time the makers give him some importance. I don't expect him to accept Anami but he should treat her like a human being at least. Even Poonam has more dialogues than him.I want him to find similarities between Vatsalya and Anami. Even Anami has her own diary. I want him to find it once he reads what she wrote for Vatsalya. I so want him to compare whats common between his children, something that cannot be faked .

About Narottam, I dont know, I think he married Sudha or ma y be it was a live in relationshi but Narottam is neither Sudha nor his child. I feel its Sudha and Pujan whom planted one. I am not justifying Baldev's chatacter. He is still accountable for what he did to Sudha and Satrupa but its about Sudha who doesnt seem to have any motherly feelings for Narottam. She is using him like a prawn and which mother would ruin her son's childhood or rather whole life to avenge a family?
