So with Simran flopping, is she over ?

She was never in the big game list either but with TWMR success a lot of people had assumed that she would be industry's numero uno and land the most awaited projects. Instead she has landed bad cinema like Rangoon and a B list Simran. Next she has her own production film.

So will she ever get the shortly alive but the success she received with TWMR and queen ? Or will she require Anand Rai to give her a next hit ?

PS- Stop chanting abut her national awards, apart from people in India nobody cares, just how we do not care who has won oscars because that does not decide the stardom or talent of an actor in any way. Its a great achievement though and I respect people who have won the NA 😃

Kangana still has Manikarnika in her kitty and it has chances to become a big Hit. The director is Krish who has made successful commercial films, and the story is written by Baahubali writer. Only if Kangana does what she is best at, I.e. acting, and doesn't interferes in the technical department...then the movie can work big time.

Indians are only supposed to care about National awards since the award is given by Government of India. And also Indian movies are made for the Indian audience before anyone. If an Indian actor wins an Oscar, then also we'll care.

Well after her failed shenanigans on television, my guess is many people in the industry are turned off by her, she basically shot herself in the foot, actually scratch that, she decapitated her legs and burnt them.

Gautam Rode and Hina Khan won DadaSaheb Phalke award for TV-Best actors. No idea about Hina but Gautam Rode was BAD in SaraswatiChandra. He could barely act and he won a NA just coz it was a Bhansali Production.
Similarly, Saif won one several years ago, which is laughable as everybody knows.
I for one, have never understood the hype about NA. All the stars consider it so much though like Akshay, Pari, Sonam wagarh.
Our last censor board chief is a proof enough that the recruitment for such things can be far from the required.

OT: No, Manikarnika will decide her fate.
