In movie terms "competence" is box office. Everyone loves art and awards but business is business and only return on investment really matters.
I do not think she will survive if she continues to be as unlikable to her colleagues as she currently is with her current box office returns. Why work with someone unpleasant if you don't have to unless there is a definite business advantage. No one cares how many people like her AKA you tube videos unless she can turn those likes into ticket sales -especially if you fear some day she will be calling a press conference to trash you.
My prediction - either she will have a little personal redemption or yes she's essentially finished as a commercial actress. If Marnikarnika is a blockbuster there may be a reprieve but she has had a blockbuster before so smart investors should still be thinking 1 BB followed by 9 (or however many) flops, do I really want to invest here?
