As Chicksoup stated in her post, that Vatsalya was Bairaagi and he had nothing to do with the worldliness, I pondered on existence of Vatsalya as a whole.

He was a free spirit, he was a lover, he was a poet and he was a philosopher. He was that thinnest of threads, who bound LM and its inhabitants together...But in reality, he was above all this materialism.

He was a bairaagi, a ramta jogi.

And these are the few lines, which evoked in me, for Vatsalya...

This is to my understanding, what Vatsalya might have thought
about himself...

Duniya mujhko baandhna chaahey, mein azaad parinda

Moh-maaya se mujhko kya lena, inn sab se parey mein banda

Kya kuch tera, kya kuch mera, mujhey samajh na aata

Apni hi dhun mein magan rahoon mein, inn sab se mera kya naata

Ye dharti hai bistar mera, aur chhat hai neela ambar

Dikhti hain muskaaney mukh par, mann mein vichlit samandar

Ek din bandhan tod ke saare, dur chala jaaunga mein

Naam jo logey mann se jab hi, paas mujhey paaoge...

Duniya= world

baandhna= to tie

Chaahey= to like

Azaad= free

Parinda= bird

Parey= far

Banda= person

Dhun= tune

Magan= engrossed

Naata= relation

Dharti= Earth

Bistar= bed

Chhat= roof

Neela ambar= blue sky

Muskaaney= smiles

Mukh= face

Mann= soul/mind

Vichlit= perturbed/troubled/turmoil

Samandar= sea/ocean

Bandhan= relations

Tod= break

Dur= far

Paaogey= to find

'Bairagi' and 'Ramta Jogi/Yogi' both convey similar meanings. Both mean a wandering monk or 'sadhu' without attachments, who has renounced material things, and wanders from place to place often singing songs and playing simple instruments.

Bairaagi and Ramta jogi both means Sanyaasi or Hermit or someone, who has no interest in worldliness.
Ok, let me translate all the words in the poem for you...😊

Some words put me in a fix but still it couldn't prevent me from enjoying the beauty of the lines.

Last lines are my Favorite.Me too feel like Vatsalya will always be there as a reason and a binding force between hearts or relations.

Its my first day here and seeing all posts and the way you all define and analyse Vatsalya and his character I feel amazed.But the truth is even If we write pages still It won't be enough!.

Lovely words dear..!❤️
