On the terrace, raman was waiting for vandu and bala, when they came they introduced themselves and raman said can we sit, i didn't feel this nervous while asking appa also.

They smiled and sat down, vandu started : raman we don't know you that well. We trusted someone and believed he would be there for her and he hurt her. Even ishita asked for a break from all this alliances and everything for sometime. We understood and supported her decision. Now she tells us that she has agreed to marry a divorcee with a kid and that too a punjabi. You have to understand our anxiety, we don't want her to make a wrong decision

Raman understood their concerns : Vandu, I am a very straightforward person, so let me ask you this. What is your concern , that i am a divorcee, it's not like no one told you or anything, my wife left me because i wasn't earning as much as my boss and not suave like him. I agreed for divorce because, you can't keep someone in a relationship forcibly. She is not part of my life or ruhi's. Ruhi doesn't know her mother, not even a picture. If me having a kid is a concern for you, i'm sorry i won't change that for anyone. She is my life. She became a ray of sunshine when my whole world changed. She and I, we are a team, where she goes i go and same way.. So no i won't regret that.. Me being a punjabi is an issue, come on vandu you were brought up in delhi, there is nothing different in our world. Except maybe i eat non veg and she eats veg, and some cultural differences, not anything big that we can't face. If all three of them, then i can't help being myself, all these things made me the person i'm today. Anything else?

Vanda was thinking what he said , when she thought about it there is nothing that different between ishita and him.. She has been betrayed by subbu and raman by his wife. And the cultures even if married in same culture,every one follows different rules.

Vandu said no

Bala also thought what raman said: I am her jiju but i consider her my sister, and she always shares everything with me her problems or happiness everything. Why didn't she tell us about you. And why do you want to marry her, i mean you are a ceo and young too. You could have any girl you want. Is it because you want a mother for ruhi?

Raman replied angrily please stop saying that.. Do you know you are her family and you keep on insulting her by saying that, that i want to marry her for my daughter. Please don't ever say that to me again. I have lots of patience, but regarding this topic i don't have any. I want to marry her because she is the most beautiful person i'm not saying physically, that she is but, but her heart is beautiful, she still sees goodness in every person she meets. It's like a when a baby is born , their soul is very pure because, they are not jaded by the world, and not hurt by someone they love, they only know how to love and give love. Ishita has that heart. I don't know how she managed to do that, after facing everything and getting hurt by so many people. But she is, when she smiles truly you can see her beauty. I am a very selfish person, because i want her to belong to me. So that I can see that beautiful smile daily and also protect it. I want to be her strength, because she will not ask for anything for herself.. She will give everything she has to everyone, and forgets about herself.. So i want to be there to hold her and take care of her.

Vandu : you knew her for few months, how do you know her so well.. She doesn't open up so easily, and here you are saying like you know her from many years

Raman smiled and said, Vandu, in life you meet some people and you feel like you can talk to them anything, and you do, because you feel that comfortable to be yourself around them. For me ishita is that person, and I think ishita also feels the same , because she is just ishita for me. I'm sorry i can't tell you anything else about our relation, that's between me and ishita. If i ever hurt her, you guys have the right to come to me and slap me or hurt me,i won't mind, it might be what i deserve.

Vandu asked, so do you love her?

Raman that's between me and ishita, but knowing you won't leave me until i answer, i don't believe in just saying the words. She is the most important person in my life other than ruhi. If you think it's love, it's upto you, but ishita knows what she means to me, that's all matters for me

Bala : what you said is fine, but why this sudden decision to get married, you could have waited for sometime and dated each other probably, and see if you really wanted to make this commitment to each other.

Raman: Bala, we are not teenagers to romance behind our parents back, there is nothing wrong in it i tell you, but we both are adults and we thought we like each other and want to raise ruhi as a family, so why do we have to wait?

Vandu, now i know why amma appa and ishita agreed and why you became ceo of the year. You are very smart and knows how to convince people.

Raman, that means you are convinced

Vandu : that's what i said

Raman with a smile : so, can i ask my gharwali and saali to come out now

Bala and vandu asked what at the same time they heard the same question from the steps

Mihika asked how did he know we are here

Ishita:If you knew we were hiding, why did you have to rattle us out

Raman: Even if i did, i only did that after they agreed right, so why are you fighting with me, if you do like this i will go and settle with my saali, what say mihika.

Mihika was about to answer, but saw her akka's anger and remained silent.

Ishita angrily: I will kill you if you ever thought of doing that okay

Raman held his ears and said sorry, and then pulled her into his arms and said i said sorry na madrasan.. Tell me what is troubling you.. Tell me madrasan what's going in that empty place you call brain..

Ishita, sounding little sad :nothing.. It's just everyone is questioning why we are getting married, i don't understand why can't we be happy. Why do you have to answer all these questions. I'm not liking it, i'm sure your parents must have asked you, my parents asked you the same thing, now akka and jiju asked the same thing.

Vandu, bala and mihika fell silent by listening to her words, they didn't trust her decision to pick a life partner when they trust her with everything. They wanted to make sure he never hurt her, instead they are the ones that hurt her.

When vandu took a step toward ishita, raman stopped her and signalled her to wait and he pulled ishita's face from his chest and made her look up and when they were seeing each other eye to eye, raman said, you know why i explained everyone's questions, when i could have just asked you to elope with me or kidnapped you and married you, she laughed at his idea of kidnapping her, you didn't have to kidnap me , i would have come with you, raman continued... ok if you didn't then i would have done it, you know why i didn't

ishita thought for few seconds and said ruhi.

Raman: Yes, see because of my influence you are becoming very sharp.. When she shot him an angry glare he stopped teasing her and continued , i have a daughter, and you know how protective i'm of her, imagine appa and amma , they had you for close to some xx number, i know your age but not everyone should know how old you are right ,

Ishita laughed and hit and said raavan , you are older than me

Raman: And sexier too right

Ishita blushed.. That's debatable

Raman ignored that comment and continued, ruhi is only 5 yrs old, and if i'm that protective of her and worried about her, amma appa also must be worried about you. And you faced so many issues ishu, that parents should never see their kids going through. They did and they became your support system. I respect them for being there for you. I want to ruhi to expect that respect from everyone in her life and she will learn everything by seeing how we behave so i should start by showing my respect to your parents right.. And i also understand their concern , i can answer these questions 100 times, if it will give them 1 % relief, that their daughter will be happy with me. Imagine giving ruhi to someone, we only met few times, can you do that, she nodded no. then how can they give their beautiful daughter to me, whom they don't know much about. It's because of their trust in your decision, and my handsome face and also my cute daughter, which might have impressed them.

Ishita laughed and said i agree on 2 things in that

Raman asked, what me being handsome, and my cute daughter

Ishita said no.. you are not ...compared to shahrukh

Raman why did you have to go and bring him up.. Okay we will discuss this topic of who is handsome after marriage. Now are you ok.. With that she went downstairs, and raman said i'm sorry you had to see that, i'm sorry vandu, she didn't mean to say that. She understands you care for her. She is tensed what my parents will say..they love her by the way..

Vandu went to raman, i couldn't have a picked a more perfect partner for her. I never saw her getting angry enough to hit someone, and act childishly, and next moment laughing.. You made ishita , ishita again. She was lost somewhere even before everything happened, now i'm seeing my old ishu. Thank you

Vandu, yes you can

Raman, if you don't mind i have to make ruhi ready for bed, it's getting late, and she wants to wake up early to get ready for tomorrow, and it will take sometime because, she already told me she wants to look as pretty as her mother. So i will have a fashion parade to attend. Ok i will see you tomorrow, you should also go and rest and get ready my half gharwali, you should give some competition to your sister
