Muslim also use Armaan name, so couldnt say anything about that.
Anyways who cares yaar, if he's muslim or hindu.

and Armaan can be a hindu or muslim name

as much as I can conclude is that Armaan is Hindu...
here is the reason...remember whenb minnie was serious...???
at that time Armaan went for Ganesh puja and prayed for well being of minnie..!

ya i think he is hindu even though the name at first had me all confused..but ya i dont think the creatives would make his muslism n ridz hindu i dont think there gonna do the whole reglion differ. story lolz...but ya i can understand but ya both muslims n hindu have malik as last names but not sure about armaan even though love the name

well i am a muslim ,
and muslims also have name armaan, its a urdu word and today it is a trend in hindus they use urdu names like kahsish, mehak, aman etc these all are urdu word,
and muslim also have surname mallik , basically there are so many names which are common in almost every religion like seema, sonia, ruby ( which christians also have), etc.

as far is armaan is concern in dmg so he is hindu and punjabi too cos in hindus mallik's are punjabis.
