Makers and channel seem to be experimenting a different style of editing each week to see which will even out the TRP for both slots. I hope this week's style fails cuz it sucks! I also hope that this is that last week of experimenting!

CVs seem to be keeping their options open for after the marriage and Pinky seems to be one of them so no hopes for her to feel remorse anytime soon. Especially not now when we need a drama factor for the shaadi🥱

I agree with you about the balance and layers too but I think the lack of it is more because they have no idea where to take the characters next. Once they decide on that we should be getting those layers and that balance back...I hope. Honestly, I should have expected the cutesy stuff because that is what happens in all the Indian shows after a couple reunites or confesses but I thought it would be different with IB cuz Harneet doesn't do cliche stuff

Did you feel they were rushing? I feel as if they are dragging...

I don't like the editing. I hated it when they used it in DBO too. I have no issues with watching the whole show. I prefer a smooth transition no matter the story without the jarring jumps.

Very possible they are stuck considering how lackluster the reunion was. It's seem like they are rushed the reunion then stalled with the fake engagement functions before the audience made the decision for them. I was hoping they would go a different route, but I always forget that she doesn't do cliche 😆

Story-wise the whole show seems rushed to me. As for Shivika, the characters and tracks had time to develop in the past, but now they are acting like BFFs married for years. It's like the writers are trying to get everyone at the same point then stall with random tracks and scenes.

And +100000 on if they fix his goddamn hair, we'd all feel SO much better and it would actually feel like Shivaay instead of some unfamiliar version of him in horrible kurtas and poop colored hair😕😆

Last 2-3 epis toh have been about NM-SC just goofing around and having fun in this happy mode...and that's cute in it's own way but long term it doesn't work...they need to get back into the dynamic of Shivika.

Aaww, this was such a beautiful track having so many beautiful scenes, shivayy was in his character and most part of this track is the perfect example how to show transition in Shivay's character, and that black hair, when will it come back man!,Anika looking soo cute like a small kid in these caps.
The kurthas Shivay generally wear at nights were actually of somewhat cotton material 😆& normal so tolerable, but these kurthas are soo wierd made of cheap cloth made it worse & the jeans in the ugly kurthas🤢 😲 🥱 😆, and red one in Monday episode remainds me of anika's red top in pocha wala Paani scene😆

Anyways we've all watched IB long enough to know a flip is coming...the sappy mode won't last but it's anyone's guess which direction the writers will flip in...for better or worse😆

The gazebo scene was nice, but I was distracted by all the yellow and the lighting lol. I liked the pav bhaaji and the auto scene better. I thought the reunion could have been better. The challenges were a miss for me, but the cast seemed to have a lot fun especially with the imitation bit.

I'm looking forward to the flip when the next track starts. Hopefully his flip comes with black hair 😆

I'm so disappointed, and I agree there's a big disconnect with shivika, it's same as the haq track last month with only difference this time we are getting comedy instead of pain
The scenes may be funny, but is being dragged too much now

Agree with everything you said. Especially with the part about the writing and direction. Actors and scenes are only as good as the content they are given, and I feel Narbhi aren't getting any substance to dig into and deliver at the moment. They seem confused, and that comes across rather clearly. Hopefully the wedding will lead to some meaty plot lines and scenes.

LM's absence is greatly felt. I will never underestimate the importance of a good director after this😆

@italics is my opinion as well and ai hope that they decide on the next track soon.

I agree that this track was necessary but it had potential to be so much better than what we got and that is disappointing a lot of us I think but you caught the secret for enjoying IB. Expect worse and you will enjoy what you get😆

@bold - I wasn't talking about you specifically, that was just a general observation as I saw some comments about lack of passion earlier. Oh, a good director is an absolute necessity.

@italics - I sure hope they have something good in store for the future. I am a bit worried tbh.

The secret to enjoying any soap is to ignore loopholes and not expect consistency, which is very difficult and always expecting the worst. 😆The last daily soap I watched was Rangrasiya, which was almost three years ago and I vowed to never watch a 4L show again since they are very much capable of doing the worst. I decided to watch IB against my better judgement anyway, so I suppose can't complain too much.
