This was the message for Annika as soon as they arrived in front of her house, all locked up. Yes, he did forcefully keep her house away from her, not because he wanted it, but because he didn't want her to leave the mansion and him. And he wasn't ready to admit or even think why that is...

So he hands her the keys to their humble abode (foreshadowing perhaps?) and they walk in to a dusty house. Note how his attitude the whole time he was sportingly accepting every discomfort and making the best of it. I was so glad he wasn't being a whiny baby, so proud of him.

Enjoying simple things like a breeze in the monsoon season, Shivaay has really immersed himself in these "In love" kinda feelings. Where everything seems rosier and bearable as long as Annika is around.

(BTW Dadi gave them a reprieve there from their 2 foot apart rule, nicely packed them off for 24 hours alone, unsupervised. Her knowing Ishqbaazi eyes must have seen the desperation between them..😆. Nice one Dadi...)

I'm loving the boyfriend girlfriend courtship period going on now, gives a reprieve from the hurtling down another saazish ridden path of Pinky-Kamini towards marriage. Time to just enjoy each other, and bask in the happy feelings. God knows they deserve it after those miserable 3 months apart. (one eye on Pinky though)

Given dhal , rice, a kitchen and an antique bare bones stove, we saw Shivaay prepare a delicious meal for them, and add a touch of romance with a rose. It was so sweet of him to make the best of it. He was so happy when she found the food delicious, after the disastrous pav baji😆.

Her nature to share everything however little, gave him the hiccups and she started feeding him water from her glass. That little look, Is this clean water? and her understanding reassurance that it is, shows how much they understand each other. Meaning she knows how much this is stressful for him, and yet he's doing his level best with a smiling face..

She babies him and nags him cutely, and he finds it all adorable. (yeah wait til its few years down the line😉) Feeding him water and cupping his chin was comfort level at its best. 😳

Going down memory lane they remembered all the times he'd been here at the house and how she'd thrown water at him each time, but now she's feeding him a drink. Also remembering the pant tearing incident 😆, and his blushing embarrassment.

Remember all the times water has been the witness to their interaction? Fighting, clashing, misunderstanding, defeats, challenges, punishment, then caring, and desire? Annika came back and challenged Pinky with a bottle of water in the hand, saying she will win her love back, saying water is a special conduit between them.

There they were, she feeding him water with love, and him being the cheesily romantic boyfriend/husband. Annika is blushing and giggling so much! More than she ever faked with Rohit on the phone...😆

Later ,he struggles to sleep on the hard bed alone as Annika took the floor next to him. She is very aware that he can't sleep and quietly slips him her pillow. Once he realized she was awake he wasted no time...😉. he looked much happier on the floor with her, than the relatively more comfortable bed.

"Shivaay, you on the floor?"

"I'll be wherever you are, Annika.." (cue: crecendo *scream*)

"How can I sleep on the bed, when you're sleeping down here? It's not about the bed, its about being together. Even on the floor, just stay with me..."

Chemistry, Physics, Biology , man...

"You've changed so much Shivaay... "

"It's all because of you. You've cast a magic spell on me..."

"It's you who made my life into a fairy tale..." He was so pleased with that compliment😆, but alas Mother Nature had other plans...rains and leaky roof !🤣 Rainwater Harvesting !! I like how he remains positive throughout..

He admires her love for the rain... (I can just smell it.. a rain song is coming... getting the feeling "the right time" for feelings is also coming .. Wish wish wish for Barish song pls pls pls )

Light goes out, and her fright is sudden and uncontrolled. Makes me wonder if Sahil was the one comforting her before hero came along.. 😭.

She leaned on him today. He promised to be her anchor once, made her promise to accept help and companionship from him. It's not easy for Annika to show her weaknesses but she surrendered them to him.

He made new promises to protect her, I will protect you forever, and ever..

*me stamping down niggling pessimism like a bug*

Pinky is not dead yet.

Rudy is very skeptical of Shivaay's ability to live on a stringent budget, and reveals a little too much to Bhavya about how bratty he is...😆.. The hyper behaviour was so cute ! 😆 Such a baby he is...

So challenge accepted ! Must work for his weekly allowance in seven days. Rudy started small, after not finding any skill set that could earn him anything. He saw a leaky tap and went to fix it. He struggled and got through his bratty ways very sportingly, and eventually succeeded. So proud of him too !!

But he thought it too easy. Got only a small amount for it. I like where this is going. Our baby Rudy is learning how to be grown up and responsible. 👍🏼

I'm really liking that intense background music between them. Also, did he just give her his first ever paycheck??😳

Omkara is challenged by his Dadaji's old nemesis to a wrestling match. It seems to be more like an old settling of scores than a mere bruised ego.

The way the grouchy old Chacha stared at angry Om, gave me vibes like he was having flashbacks of ol' Prithviraj Singh Oberoi. (Totally imagining him with a grand moustache and big turban right now, Omkara's build and voice, with kanji eyes.😲.. will the makers treat us to a flashback ala Love Aaj Kal? Don't raise hopes)

But there's more to this wrestling match than the mere ownership of the idol. The idol was given honour at Dada and Dadi's wedding, and was their family heirloom, so there's a reason grouchy man won't give it up...

Om just accepted a challenge to a wrestling match, after admitting he knows next to nothing about the sport. Let's see how he pulls through this one... I just hope Gauri isn't the one put at stake in the middle..

Your pessimism! I too concur! I felt the same when he mouthed 'tumhari izzat, meri izzat' yesterday!

Didn't he say the same dialog the day he accepted her as his wife in public, after Daksh tamasha? And then literally threw her out of the house!

Let us see! Glad they gave equal space to all 3 obros!

Also, annika and sahil did sleep in a bigger bed before! Suddenly it became a single bed!

What is the use in dadi sending them alone? These two are still in a hands off mode!

And Rudy baba attends no classes at all? Strange!

The above statement from you holds true during forced marriage track. Am really confused in his actions during separation period ..hope they talk about it in coming episodes

I will need to wake up early tomorrow, so not gonna blabber much (I always say that and then end up writing a 10 pages essay🤣, I know) but:

Man, after those huge separation track that poured excess amount of this biter and toxic ingredient called pinky, and not to mention, with the rotten Vikram-Anika fake engagement saga with a pinch of ragini, I feel like the recent episodes are a fresh air to the suffocating and stinking environment 😳

AND your analysis is a cherry on top 🤗 as always ;)

I'm so loving this evolution of Shivay after he came across to the nasty truth of Pinky. I mean, yes, I have always seen his "Lover" side, so did we got a glimpse of his unique way of showing care and affection for Anika, however, correct me if I'm failing to recall something here, I haven't seen him openly trying to adjust to Anika's lifestyle, embracing every nook and corner of the so called middle class people's living he had always mocked and looked down upon.

Starting from staying at a dusty room with no air conditioner or fan in such a humid weather, no proper stove/microwave to cook, sleeping on a hard 'chowki' lacking a mere mattress when he's used to sleeping in his king sized bed, witnessing ceiling-leaking when he is so used to staying at nothing less than a palace that contains every luxury one could ever imagine with the staff's complete subservience to him, I indeed felt like he has come a long LONG way! His gradual change has been one of the mos mesmerizing element of his character, though I wouldn't deny it requires a lot of patience as an audience.

I loved Anika's confession that part was so so beautiful and meaningful because they both have turned their imperfect life into perfect ones just by their mere presence.

While it was shivay who had transformed her '2 rupee' life, into a bed of roses with undivided and unconditional love as well as everything she had never imagined herself to be an owner or ever in her life, Anika dared to gather this rock-hard yet sensitive creature in her arms, gradually peeling him layer by layer until he gave away all his insubstantial elements like Naam-khoon-Khandan and embrace her just as Anika, with no baggage, no nagging feeling about her background...

I'm just loving every bit of these nonchalant episodes. They are ultimately RomCom which might sound as something not containing much gravity, but in reality, they're extremely meaningful in terms of Character as well as relationship growth. At least, that's what I feel personally

Anyway, as I said, I can't control myself when I start typing, as you can see, my mini paragraph has turned into an essay yet once again. It's 1:36 am here and I gotta hit the bed but THANK YOU for finally making an appearance, that too with a bang! Loved reading every bit of your optimism and esp how you connected current scenes to the old ones 😆 Don't disappear again, your posts are very precious and I love reading them

P.S. "Chemistry, biology, physics man!".. 🤣I DIED 🤣

Trust you to come up with this analysis:-) god I never get tired of reading thru ur optimistic approach but am glad you n I agree on 'Pinky not dead' part ... how I wish that happened... n also did not get good vibes from for ever n ever part either ...' sigh' wish I could muster up some optimism but after all the arcs which hit us in the head n pierced us in the heart I cannot .

Though I started watching after Shivika Milan I still use my FF button ... I cannot adapt that easily to what I am not used to so no comments about the rest of the episode ... thought they would make this easing in easy for the IB watchers but it's like they are coming up with random tracks n just shoving it down our throats . I felt like something different from the sci-fi n other nonsense for the Rikara they deserve a good story :-( but I guess not .

Still feel a disconnect to Shivika , cannot relate to Ruvya n cannot make heads or tails out of Rikara story meaning still do not get their equation ... can the makers simplify please .

Great one. I read so many post showing their displeasure about connectivity with Shivika. I blame it to the editing. When i watched it in FF mode with only Shivika scenes it was all wonderful. Last scene was just perfect.

This is exactly what Napstermonster's post last week was underlining. The fact that they didn't resolve any of their issues properly post reunion, conveniently stating that they are still legally wedded. And all is well.

It's not well YET. Shivaay just stuck his head in the ground and avoided the issues that came out that day. Nothing was discussed yet everything is different.

One can argue that Shivaay and family have ostracized Pinky until the point she acknowledges what she did was wrong and made amends. But he didn't say those words to his mother.

I, for one was a tad disappointed at that because I wanted so much for that forced marriage to be over and buried and a new bond forged. Which leads me to worry if some other madcap twist is coming for us, so we can hang on to this "legally married" fact as a safety net. 😲

But it is what it is, so I'm hoping as they slowly move towards remarriage the issues are sorted out before the vows.

She may force him to forgive his mother, leading to some minor conflict, we have wait and see. But I don't see Pinky being grateful over this

Minus tejvilana it was a good epi which dint need much ffing

Anyway loving shivika but I feel the lighting could be better..

Also I don't know why they changed look of anikas house... She surely dint use that stove n the bed was bigger...these little things matter...

Anika not remembering the dish name other day was another thing I hated...

BTW that pessimistic feeling when shivay repeated suraj wala dialogue ... I just couldn't shake it off..

So much lovey dovey ... Is something big coming ...

BTW there is news of IB going back to 30 minutes... That is going to be a disaster with 3 couples! I wish we got back DBO n some monthly merger episodes

Lovely post Anisa..

However i have been a little disappointed since yesterday.

Firstly i find a huge gap between the concept n detailing.concept wise they have good plots but they lack detailing n vision.

I m not even going to the editing part

Secondly i really felt being poor meant no passion in life.somewhere i have lost shivika.i m not sure if u r aware but we have been debating on touch vs talk on the edt.both are neccessary at this time but what is needed is balance in shivika scene.they r either too lovey dovey or too drama oriented.somewhere cvs need to strike a balance.

Like the friday epi had a good balance.

Thirdly the wait is getting me tired.we waited for 2.5 months to get them back now we wre waiting ahain for a month for marriage rituals to begin why the delay.when will pinky start analysing feelinh sorry.

Looking at your feelings if Ruvya n Rikara i stand by you on wjat you said.

Nevrrtheless ignore my rant your write up is a the moon that illuminates light on my dark starry night!:)
