A leading lady has been in Mumbai for over a fortnight now, after having taken time off from her global commitments. While she has met several filmmakers, she hasn't signed on any new films as yet (and she is the sort to make announcements overnight). We hear the reasons for this are rather ambitious: she wants Rs 15 crore per project, and in some, she wants a share of the profits too. While male actors are known to command that sort of fee, we think it's about time the ladies get to pull in the stakes, too.

of course...anyone who can open their movies in the range of 20, 30, 40 crores ...needs to get that type of money...gender no bar...and good luck for that👍🏼

She should get what she wants. In many movies she turns out as the best performer.

Although, 15-16 cr is too much for an acting job, these actors earn so much plus have so much facilities at workplace. Jealous 🥺

She can ask. And they can choose if they want to give or not. She doesn't pull the audience though. How many people did she bring to Baywatch in India? Nobody. Her last Gangajal movie didn't even get an opening and she hasn't been seen in BW now for years.

I don't think in her precarious position she would get that much money.

But she can ask. 😆

People always bring up box office when it comes to remuneration of actresses but IMO content is king regardless of actor or actress. The recent flops and disasters of male superstars proves that. Priyanka earns in dollars in Hollywood, if she takes time out and does a Bollywood movie it should be equal or more payment. Asking for 15 crore is fair enough, it's up to them to give it or not.

According to Forbes, it's estimated that Priyanka makes $3 million per season of Quantico (converts to 19 or 20 crore I guess)

15 cr fees for someone whose last film collected only 35 cr in India ! 😲 Acting ke basis pe renumeration milta agar toh Nawaz and Irfan ki fees Salman ki fees se jyada hoti. Moreover , she isn't that great of an actress as some people say. I watched Agneepath recently...her acting in it was terrible and cringe worthy. 🐷
