Preet has apparently been exiled from her pind. The Bajwas are supposedly from another village, seeing as she's allowed to live there. So which is Gaguwal? The one the Pawanias live in or the one the Bajwas live in? Then there's also the fact that both Bajwas and Pawanias share the same Panchayat which leads me to believe that they also live in the same village. But then the exile makes no sense. I'm confused.

Maybe pind means the area where their own clan lives 😕
The Bajwas and the Pawanias live in Gaguwal, but they have their areas.
Maybe the Bajwas don't live in the area where the Pawanias live and vice versa.
I don't know for sure either. Just speculating.

But isn't pind the Punjabi word for village?
But Amrit referred to where the Bajwas live as 'gao' which also means village, right?
At the beginning of the show, a police officer said that Jagan kidnapped people from the neighbouring gao.
After Preet got exiled, Raj told her that she's been banished from her ilaaqa (territory/area).

For sanity's sake, I am going to assume that the Pawania clan occupies one area in the village Gaguwal while the Bajwa clan occupies another.

That's what I thought too 😕
But this seems to be the only logical explanation .
Or maybe Gaguwal is a district and not a village?
But that's illogical too.
Because then there would be a district magistrate and not some lame Panchayat!

True. I'm gonna think of it as a village because both Bajwas and Pawanias share the same lame Panchayat. And then there's also the reasons mentioned above. CVs should really show consistency in at least something.

Remember Delia? We had this discussion as soon as Preet was banished from gaguwal. It doesn't really make sense. The yaara da aadda is pretty close by. So it means the village is a pretty small one.

Where the Pawanias and Bajwas' paths cross and hence the village is khoonkar?
This somehow feels like Ramleela inspired to me 😆
Though can't remember if the two clans there shared a village.
