Alia Bhatt's Competitor

There weren't a lot of actresses that could match up to Alia in terms of films, script choices, exposure. Which actress from the current lot can give Alia Bhatt competition, is a threat or has potential to be a threat.

No one 'cause none of them get the kind of backing she gets. It's almost like they're blockading talent from the outside unless they are willing to suck up to the producers.

I hate how BW offers no choice these days. This is why I watch very few movies at the cinemas. They deserve these dwindling profits until their akal starts keeping up with their films' rakam.

However, I see Alia being stuck at this 'promising youngster' stage but not blossoming into the DP/Kat style star she wants to be.

Shraddha is a bland actress and her career is almost over. Disha was promising in MSD, she's beautiful and has a good screen presence. Though it'll be better to see more of her before passing more judgements. But again, she lacks strong backing so don't think she'll provide any competition to Alia.
Kriti is an average actress so can't see her playing more than an eye candy.

Parineeti and Vaani were two actresses whom I was looking forward to see how there career shapes out. Both were promising from their debut movie itself. Pari was a one of a kind actress with her typical girl-next door image instead of a glamorous heroine.
Vaani was the most natural actress among her contemporaries and I can say that by only watching her in SDR.
They could have been a good competition to Alia but things didn't work out for them.
Vaani ruined her career along with her face. Pari's career too came to a road block because of her insecurity...and I'm afraid that it is also pretty much over. Because it's almost impossible for an actress to make a successful comeback.

So who can give competition to Alia??
Maybe perhaps Fatima?? The girl can act and she'll get good scripts and roles until she keeps warming Mamu's bed.
