Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to offer Hum Dil de Chuke Sanam to Madhuri ,but ultimately he could not manage to offer it to her. YOu're right about Pardes. Pardes was earlier named Ganga, planned by Subhash Ghai for Madhuri. But had to change the story a bit later as Madhuri was unable to do it early. Changed story name was Pardes.

@Rekha_ji: Pardes was named Ganga initially, planned for Madhuri by Subhash Ghai. But then he changed the story a bit, named it Pardes. MD could not do it, maybe due to early dates. Damini was offered originally to Madhuri.

SRK was offered 3 idiots and Munna bhai MBBS but he refused both. He was also offered Robot. Don't understand why he read scripts with his eyes shut🤢
