What's going wrong with Moh Moh?

Had just watched rival show over the weekend to get an idea Abt the type of competition we have... Mst say inspite of the regressive-masked-as-traditional male protagonist... And the back drop of over conservative/religious traditional family setting the show does have an appeal for two reasons... The show has been treated beautifully visually.. and the female protagonist has definite goal to achieve... And is doing everything which she is doing with such deligence, dedication and clear heart that u wud definitely support her for her cause - questioning the whole purpose and real benefit of doing this is another matter altogether tho - bt at least she has clear views about the farcical and forcible marriage she has landed herself into.and that her husband is regressive and not at all man of her dreams... So story thr is clear. Both protagonist will gradually change over the time to be better individuals picking up all the good things from the others lifestyle and mentality... Also all the side characters r very well written and they go in tandem with the main protagonists story... This I got only after watching just two epis over the weekend.. now that is a commendable job to attract new viewers at new time slot without them having to refer old epis or story👍🏼

So wat lacks in Moh Moh in comparison to that?

1. There is no definite ambition agenda of either lead... in their life... Considering thy wer solid attached to the ground and realistic characters thy definitely needed 1. A goal in life 2. A Daily occupation to make a living that they diligently pursue...

How I wished they had kept focus on aru's dreams instead of shifting it completely to an half hearted attempt to make her a good mukhiyani. So wat this show lacks is a strong background story supporting their love story... Thy cudve easily shown aru pursuing her business interest in amboli, scouting talents, recruiting women and incidentally coming across their Civic problems... That way her abhiyaan wud' ve gotten more credibility support and applauds from us women folk. Suddenly she is not the aru that we admired in the beginning she is just the mukhiyani. Or a wife who is contemplating on wearing the jhumkas...

Ditto with Mukhi suddenly he is just another lead.. his role as a mukhi has been so diluted.. all they do is some vellapanti and romance.. thr is no definite task at hand for them with a clear long-term goal/objective.. hence this toilet track looks so superficial with some romance strewn just for our entertainment...

2. There seems to be no story left to tell... Right now the plot/track seems aimless, unjointed... Wat has toilet track to do with janmastmi celebration except to spin some romance which doesn't seem to be progressing and is stuck at almost kissing? Where's the physical intimacy developing gradually to SR... Except for the leads blaming each other for even touching each other... It's like taking two steps backwards after deciding to go forward after each other's consent...

3. Side characters even villians and vamp or other family members are huge waste.. they don't contribute aything to the progression of story... U take them out and it wudnt even matter...

In short I feel that the Moh Moh story has been derailed from it's original goal post confession and return to amboli village... suddenly everything looks so superficial farcical.. which is affecting their chemistry as well..

I hate to say this but I know this phase... It inadvertently happens in a show that fails to Garner required trps after certain given time... I don't know what goes in the heads of channel coordinator or wat research prompts them to take such route bt the story goes downhill from here... And Sony channel ppl have become expert at that..😆and I feel production house cannot b blamed for dip in quality and standard..

Bt I hope channel coordinator gives enough time and thinking to this show... and Moh Moh team picks up from here and delivers the original quality and standard, the type that we r essentially competing against in rival show... I hope thy understand it's not saathiya any more and we don't need ott villian vamps or overly dramatic headache inducing head banging tracks to woo viewers... subtle and solid track would do wonders...

Clearly the ott trend is changing slowly and Moh Moh shud stick with their original serving...And tell what thy wanted to tell and give us a classic and epic tale that we want...

P.s.

They have wasted a whole week after confession... without giving a proper direction to the story
Hope this week is better..

This bhaang romance track ended with neither of them actually realizing their need for physical intimacy...it only highlighted Mukhi's desires opening up a bit... bt there was no progression in aru's feelings..from what we saw in last consent SR scene... Ulta she was blaming him...

It should have shown that she went for him.. and doesn't feel unapologetic Abt it...

I so agree with you on this. T
he other show - though I hate some scene when I watch tim and really don't like thew show but still I keep binging on it time to time .. so I don't know what exactly is that. I think it is the suspense they are able to create -
"what will happen next .. how far will this go.."

There are also 2-3 parallel tracks and they are also interesting if not equally engrossing.

I wish they showed Aaru achieving her dream seriously.. she seems so out of focus in all this. And then repetitive attacks of various kinds are also predictable.

Our YMMKD has to pull up their socks ..

We need some interesting parallel track ..

bold. U r bang on with that... That is essentially the Crux of good story telling👍🏼

Readers/viewers shud b interested enough to turn on to next page/epi to know what will happen next..

I too feel interesting parallel tracks make story less monotonous and more interesting... I don't understand y r thy not making use of such fine character as saanvi... I wudnt mind even arjans backstory... At least that villian keeps us hooked on to the scenes..

Oh I loved the chemistry of the leads in that show very much... Not mention the very watchable and eye pleasing male lead...😆. Bt his character and the whole... Patni charitra tests were a big put off for me... So I never pursued it... Bt I think his character wud change slowly over the time, admit his flaws mistakes and that would keep audience glued to the screens...

No doubt it's still early to say the ott trend has changed till we get the trps of this slot..

Bt I feel Moh Moh shud still stick to it's strengths.. not experiment too much and lose old viewers in greed of new ones..😆...

But overall things on Indian tv still luk dismal... none of new or upcomping shows interest me except for two thrillers which r again on Sony TV... 🤔. God bless me if they turn out to be another Beyhaad..... 😆... bt I will keep hope and give them a few epis chance...😛

Of the show is the leads and thier chemistry and offcourse the power packed cast eijaz niyati anayay mam..benaf...anand goradiya..etc...and the list is unending...

The most striking feature of the show is the touch of realness be it in character sketch or in make up department suppose if u take ramis loud make up as a villan no matter it is loudbut yet stuble and real not like komolikaaa or ...any other iconic Villans ...

And that to aru I am so glad for once we get a fl who is not bounded with heavy jewellery or saree ...
Third obviously mukhi ...see mukhi is a human...and he too had flaws which... CVS clearly hinted time to time be his double standard or ...my village stick ...but things are changing...I guess...hope ...

Fourth the Villans of the show are actually god I mean all having ulterior motive its not like I hate him coz of jealousy kinda thing..

Fith the humour...oh god ...I don't I have saw just a fantastic humour in any other so called expilicit drama show ever...

But as its so tough to be in the lead especially in the TV league the story has at one point have to stuck so as all the aspect of it the most drow back of the TV..

But yay too much experiment kills a show...no matter it is required to move a story forward and to grab audience..but ..at the same time too risky and almost. ..kills the main essence...

But all these r superficial things that just help propogate the things/plots... Here I m questioning the core story.. the treatment of the show and the core story r two separate things...

Here Their characters have been established well enough, now they need to take the story forward..

Do u agree with the current tracks? Do you find a story/purpose behind these tracks?
