I walk along

in my old shoes

wrinkled and worn

well used, but not torn

What a story these shoes can tell

Where all I have been - and done so swell

I am from a goan, folks - so I care about the past

As time is slow and life does not fly fast

When Aru saw them for the first time around

She got into a fit and threw them out of bounds

But I got them back as they are not so bad

They have stood by me on my bright days and sad

Now I know what you are thinking

They are so battered and probably smell

But what the hell

They are mine to use every step so wish me well!
