Everyone who is successful says they were offered Casting couch opportunities and they declined.. So I am curious.. Is it the unsuccessful ones that agree for Casting couch? Must be a bummer in that case

Yes. Either the unsuccessful ones will speak out, or few successful ones will speak out but say they turned it down or have not engaged in such practicies although they are aware of it. Pretty much any commoner who has struggled and isn't a star kid has compromised. Everyday there are hundreds of strugglers mostly women who arrive in Mumbai with dreams of making it big and are quickly introduced to this and exploited. Although I am on the fence of calling it exploitation because they do this often by their own free will and willing to take all it takes to make it.

Probably only the unsuccessful ones admit to it
Most are too embarrassed to admit that they faced it
So they either say that they have not faced it
Or they say that they had turned down such offers

They are offered many couches...Some they accept...Some they reject...Lekin bataate sirf reject waale ke baare mein hain..

Pretty sure the successful ones also have to say yes to the casting couch...no one will ever admit though. Whole system is ridiculously messed up 😔

We have a close family friend who is into movie making(he makes offbeat films) who says there is no one spared from the CC, not even the so called star kids irrespective of their gender and that the CC for the outsiders like Kangana, Aishwarya, SRK, Vidya etc, is altogether at another level...
