Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar!! A Poem

Who ayi mere zindagi mein

(she came in my life)

Ek musafir bankar

(as a traveller)

Bas do pal ke mehmaan ki tarah tahri woh

(She was just a temporary guest in my life)

Jane anjane mein de baitha dil apna

(unknowingly i gave my heart to her)

Yeh sach hai ya hai ek sapna

(i don't know if its true or just a dream)

Usne mujhe hasna sikhaya

(she taught me to smile)

Zindagi ke mayne sikhaye

(she taught me the importance of life)

Dheere se haule se pyaar karna sikhaya

(slowly she taught me how to love)

Khone laga hoon main uski baaton mein

(i am mesmerized in her words)

Ab uske bina ek pal bhi nahi kat_ta

(I cannot live without her for even a second)

Usi ke liye ab jeeyun main

(i want to live only for her)

Uske bina mar hi jaayun kahin

(i might die without her)

Shayad isi ko kahte hain pyaar sabhi

(i think that is what love is all about)

Afsos hai ki use yeh kabhi kah na saka...Kyunki

(but i regret that i could not tell her what i feel... because)

Hawa ke jhonke ki tarah who mujhe chookar chali gayi

(she touched me like a gust of the wind and left)

Ab mere paas sirf uski yaadein hain

(now, i only have the memories)

Who baatein hain

(those conversations with me)

Jo main kabhi nahi bhulunga

(which i will never forget)

Aaj bhi uska ehsaas in hawaon mein lipta hai

(even today her presence is felt in the atmosphere)

Jo kahin na kahin mujhe zinda rakhti hai

(which keeps me alive somehow)
