Dunkirk Challenging bollywood films at box office

The Hollywood film Dunkirk has done well with business of 3.50 crore nett apprx and is set for a good weeeknd. It is easily the best performing film in multiplexes and these collections have come from just the english version as the film has not been dubbed.

Bollywood better get its act together. People are increasingly turning to Hollywood for entertainment. The movies bollywood has been dishing out lately aren't even worth watching for free. Expecting people to pay good money to see talentless starkids in movies with jaded script is sheer idiocy. If there is a nice Hollywood movie in a nearby multiplex then people will flock to see it as now a good percentage of our population understands English.. And those who don't understand English well have the option of watching dubbed movies.

The challenge was finding any seats... last night, my dad booked tickets for Monday, all the screenings on Saturday/Sunday/Monday are houseful..some even to the very first row from the screen! 😃
