I don't think Akki can completely justify COMPLEX and internalised roles like, say a Swades or a CDI or even something like an urban rom com or hardcore romantic movies in general. But credit where due, he is very diverse in choosing films. SRK can get monotonous in choosing roles.

Comedy: Akshay is better.

Action: Akshay is better.

Drama: Akshay is better (Special 26, baby jolly)

Experimental role: Akki is better.

Aki is better actor but SRK had charm to pull the audience to the theater.

Akshay Kumar is better actor, in every genre

Comedy - Hera Pheri, Housefull series

Action - Mohra, Rowdy Rathore

Romance - Namastey London

Drama - Ek Rishta

Thriller - Khiladi

Content Type (New One) - Baby, Airlift

While SRK Sucks in every genre... ab toh kisi mein bhi nahi chalta =)) 😆

I would have said SRK if it was 2007..But no point in dwelling in the past by highlighting 4-5 great performances of SRK and ignoring the continuous endevour of Akshay for doing bigger and better work..

So yes at present Akshay is doing much better job than SRK

Memorable performances of both actors:

SRK: Swades, CDI, Darr, Baazigar, Anjaam, MNIK, Fan, KHNH, DDLJ, KKHH, Devdas, Veer Zaara, Don, KHKN

Akki: Sangharsh, Baby, Airlift, Namastey London, Hera Pheri, Ajnabee, Garam Masala, Rowdy Rathore.

Akki has done more movies but less memorable performances. SRK is better.
