Part 19
Ishita stood in front of their huge marriage pic ,which Raman has fixed in the middle if their room so that he can see ishitas face whenever he woke in morning.She touched the picture lovingly and spoke " Raman where are you ,see its almost a year ,I have been waiting for you .kya aapko meri yaad nahi aati ,aati hogi na then why are you taking so long .see I have started working on your dream project ,today is opening of out first hotel ,I really wanted you to be with me today but seems you want to take more time .jaanu please don't take much time ,I have handled myself till now but my hope is also broking, please come back raman before my hope break ,because the day when I will loose my hope that day I will loose myself ,main mar rahi hoon raman ,I will die please come back soon ."
She broke into tears till she complete her sentence ,simmi who came to call Ishita for going to their hotel also started crying listening to the pleads of Ishita.She walked to her and kept her hand on ishitas shoulder to console her and spoke " Ishita we are getting late ".
She turned to simmi and broke in front of her speaking " simmi you bhai is too stubborn, see still he is teasing me ,not coming to me ".
Simmi hugged her tight to console her , both the girls cried for sometimes then composed themselves to go for the inauguration of their hotel .This emotional scene was witnessed my elders but non talked about it thinking more they will discuss more they will miss Raman and Ishita will feel the void of her life .
Soon all got ready and reached the hotel ,Mr and Mrs iyer performed the inaugural puja as except them no couple was there .After puja toshiji cut the ribbon of entrance and they entered the hotel ,there they saw two huge pictures of Mr Bhalla and Raman ,a sandal garland was there in Mr bhalla's pic and Raman's pic was like that ,toshiji eyes filled and she spoke hugging Ishita tight " puttar kahan se laati hai itni himmat, how can you handle all this ,aaj tere papa hote n then he must have told ,dekha I told you na ishita is only perfect girl for my Raman but sadly non of them are there with us."
I- don't worry Mummyji ,very soon he will be with us ,bahut Jee liya inke bina ,and he without us ,now he had to come to take care of you ,Simmi and mine .
T- tu sahi kahti hai puttar now he has to come .
Mr and Mrs iyer too were crying but they consoled bhalla's anyhow and spoke " ishu ,bhabhi ji why you people are crying ,you see the guest have started coming ,we have to look after them ."
The ladies nodded and started greeting the guests .After sometimes Ishita brought an elderly person along with a gentle man ,she introduce them with her parents and toshiji as ,one of her best clients Mr Kapoor and his son Anurag kapoor ,who has supported them a lot in their bad days ,she also said that they have provided bhalla's much needed investments for the opening of this hotel .Toshiji and iyers greeted them and made them sit beside them .Then Ishita spoke " Mummyji , kapoor uncle has chosen our simmi for anurag and he wanted to talk to you about this ."
Toshiji became happy listening to this as though the business was taken care but she was worried about Simmi's marriage and today Ishita is taking care of this .Toshiji spoke " its so nice tgst you likes my daughter but the problem is I m just living my life ,my DIL Ishita and simmi ,they only take care of everything , if Ishita is recommending your son and simmi too likes him ,I will happily give my daughter to you ,either I wouldn't be able to help you ."
Mr kapoor " actually you are right ,now a days we can't let our kids marry without their choice .Ishita puttar if you can call simmi and ask her decision ."
I- simmi is here uncle ,I think we should let them talk and decide .
Mr kapoor " that will be great ".
Soon simmi and anurag went in a room to talk while Ishita recalled about themselves ,the day when Raman and his parents finally came to fix their marriage after their approval .
Flashback .
Raman and his parents were sitting in hall ,parents were talking while Raman's eyes were on the door of ishitas room as he was waiting eagerly for her .After sometimes he saw her coming out from kitchen , wearing mehroon kanjiwaram saree with golden and green border . Before he can react Toshiji got up from her place and walked to ishita,she took some kajal from her eyes and spoke putting it behind ishita's ear " kinni soni lag rahi hai ,kisi ki nazar na lage ".
Though ishra had met many times but this meeting was a bit different ,both were feeling that they are meeting for the very first time .Raman was lost in her etheral look while ishita was down casting her eyes shyly as if bhallas has come to see her first time .Seniors were talking while Ishra were waiting for the chance to talk to each other .Toshiji noticed this and elbowed amma ,they talked something and then spoke " ishu till we are talking you take raman to your house ."As if ishra were waiting for this only ,both of them walked towards her room,Raman was first to enter the room while ishita was following him, as she was walking slowly . The moment she entered the room he closed the door in jiffy and pinned her to the door and spoke huskily " madrasan aaj hi humne confess kiya aur lagta hai aaj hi suhaagraat bhi manani padegi ."
Saying so he didn't give her any chance to speak and pressed his lips on her , ishita closed her eyes to feel his touch .She was still closing her eyes and was trying to feel his touch when she felt a tap on her shoulder ,she opened her eyes and saw Simmi calling her " Ishita we are done ,come ma is calling you ".
Ishits nodded and spoke " you go I m coming ".
Simmi listened this and went while Ishita wiped the unshed tears which she got whole recalling her and his day .She walked to her office room where everybody was sitting ,entered the room only to get the news that simmi and anurag are ready for marriage. Listening to which Ishita congratulated simmi and anurag then told toshiji " Mummyji you take kapoor uncle home there you people can talk nicely ".
Toshiji was ready but Mr kapoor denied saying that he just wanted to know there opinion .Now he will go home , give this hood news to his wife and will finally come for roka ceremony ,all nodded and kapoor's left .
They day passed in jiffy as it was a big and busy day ,guests were coming and appreciating ishita and simmi for showing the courage to start the chain of hotel besides having their business .
Days again started passing simmi's marriage got fixed ,her engagement was done and marriage was after a month .The engagement happened with a small function as she don't wanted a huge one because of tgd tragedy in their house .Though Ishita was happy ,was smiling all the time ,was participating and doing all the preparations happily but simmi very well know how much ishita misses Raman .
One day ishita reached to her hotel, she
got down from her car and was going to conference hall to attend the meeting when she saw a man was standing in front of the big picture of Raman which ishita has put in the entrance of hotel .
She walked to him and asked " why are you looking at the picture so keenly ,had you seen him somewhere".
M- nope I don't know him ,its just I was looking at this picture and wondering why this picture is here .
I(irritated )- wo mere husband ki pic hai aur ye mera hotel hai ,I can put his pics anywhere ,you don't have to think much.
The person made faces and went while ishita ran to her cabin and cried saying " Raman ab to aa jaao ,every person who comes to this hotel always ask who you are ,why your picture is there ,but little did they know that I have put that picture so that every one can see it and can inform me if anyone has any news of you .I just love you way too much Raman ,please come back ,thak chuki hoon main sabke sawaalon ke jawab de kar ".
Saying so she cried again leaning on the door when she heard knock ,she composed herself and opened the door ,the peon was standing there .Ishita instructed him to bring coffee for her ,he nodded but before leaving he informed that a person wanted to meet her .
Ishita told him to send the person in ,after a while she saw the same person entering the room who she saw in front of Raman's picture .She got up and asked surprisingly" aap , how can I help you ".
The man " not you but I think I can help you ".
I- I didn't get you .
M- actually I m Dr vineet Singh ,I m a neurosurgeon, I have my hospital in Anand vihar ,but I after do charities and visits to different hospitals .
I- and you treated raman.
V- Mrs bhalla please don't be so excited , I m just assuming ,about six months back a Ngo has organized my visit in some of hospitals .I had treated many patient at that time ,j think I have treated your husband also .you can go and check .
I- are you sure he was raman .
D- no I m not ,I told you na I m assuming ,it may be true or may not be true ,so please don't jump on conclusion .At first you go and check ,may be you can find your husband .,

Saying so she got up ,gathered her stuff and ran towards her car ,thinking may be she can get the happiest news of her life .
