Mayank was forcing himself on Pooja. He told him to stop before slapping, but Mayank didn't listen. To kya karta?
Us din agar Rahul seedhe seedhe mafi maang leta to shayd Naren thappad nahi maarta, but Rahul wanted to put everything as a joke. And instead of accepting, he gave unreasonable explanation and also blamed Pooja. Thatswhy Naren slapped.
Jab Naren ne Surbhi ko ghar se nikala, to usey bhi thappad padna chahiye tha, par yash ya kisi aur ne ye nahi kiya. They were more worried ki ek din mein esa kya ho gaya jo Naren ne esa kadam uthaya. Naren and Surbhi's fight was their main concern. They cared for the cause, not the effect. And Surbhi reacted in a very hyper manner when Naren was just being normal in the cctv camera issue. It was a major concern! Wasn't it? But Surbhi blamed Naren for embarrassing her. And then at home she insulted Pooja and gave Naren 2 options- to choose either Surbhi or Pooja. Then Naren told her that he cannot marry her. Though pushing her was extreme, but Naren couldn't accept that Surbhi was unable to give the darja of a human to Pooja.
And by the way, he never hampered the dignity of any girl, izzat what I mean.
