For over 30 years, the 'Stardust' magazine has showcased the Hindi film industry's favorite movies channel associated with the 'Stardust' to recognize and appreciate the potential talents in the Indian film industry through the 'MAX Stardust Awards - A Celebration of New Talent'.

The 'MAX Stardust Awards' are for those who are at the threshold of their showbiz careers, for those who perhaps have just a film or two to their credit but have impressed the industry and the audience with their explosive performances. Young talent and films that have made an impact in 2007 have been nominated for the 'MAX Stardust Awards'.

Since it is the only awards ceremony where the superstars of today raise their glasses to the stars of tomorrow, this high profile event promises to attract some of the biggest names in the industry. The idea is to showcase and recognize the fresh, new faces that will emerge as the superstars of tomorrow. They are scared and nervous but they've given the best shot to whichever characters they had been entrusted to play.

Some of these promising stars names included in the nominations are Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Himesh Reshammiya, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade, Sagarika Ghatge, Vikram Chatwal, Kal Penn, Kangana Ranaut, Chitrashi Rawat, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Shipa Shukla to name a few.

The star-studded ceremony of the 'MAX Stardust Awards' is scheduled for January 26 at the Bandra Kurla Sports Complex in Mumbai. The event will have lavish sets coupled with laser displays, special effects, lighting and acoustics to create a breathtaking audio and visual impact. And the guest profile will include film stars, leading personalities from the movie industry, celebrities, socialites, politicians and top dignitaries from all over the country.

This high profile event will include a lot more than just the handing over of awards. In store, will be a series of specially put together entertainment acts, including song and dance performances by leading stars.

The recipients of the MAX Stardust Awards are young, they're hot and they're the superstars of tomorrow. The 'MAX Stardust Awards' will pave the way forward - an event that will truly represent the gifted future of Bollywood
