Ahlaam5, I disagree with you, someone with a mental illness can be loved and give love back. I cannot find anything wrong with that. People with mental illness like Vishu are very caring and loving, there is absolutely nothing wrong or creepy about it. I think TV shows like Agnifereare opening the mindset of people. Everyonedeservedto find love.👍🏼
I never said people with mental illness can't fall in love or be loved...
I said romanticising mental illness which is completely different ...honestly that word is a misuse..but what i meant is you can fall for someone with a mental illness such as bipolar disorder but you can't love away their bipolar-ness.
Alot of hindi tv shows always show mentally ill person suddenly recovering and becoming neurotypical (mental illness suddenly becomes treatable) because of romantic love which are awful depictions of mental illnesses.
But my problem with Vishnu is that he seems to have the mind of a child...so yes romantic love in that sense is creepy. (im not talking about freindship/family love here)
Why are you romantically interested in someone who's clearly a child but with an adult body (the only thing adult is his body...behaviour/thoughts/actions/worldview is all childlike because right now he is a child)...its very wrong and creepy just as an adult falling for a child with a childs body.
I have seen weird shows like banoo main teri dulhann/bidaai...male lead has child mentality and female lead somewhat finds him attractive and in romantic love while male lead behaviour/thoughts is childlike..its disgusting and wrong.
Theres a big difference in having bipolar disorder/dementia/ptsd/paranoia (they still have adult minds/adult thoughts, adult behaviours even with multiple personality disorder, there might be mixed adult/children personalities) and having a childlike mentality as is it seems to be the case for Vishnu.
