Varun excelled as Badri

But as you know. IF members either get biased and sing praises to Ranbir or SRK's fart even. Or any dramatic or dark performance the so called 'great actors' like Irrfan, Nawaz, Rajkumar or Vicky

Commercial films performances are never well credited

Absolutely one of his best performances. The movie itself is so very well made and his performance being so good only adds to it.
