Now you cant go near SP.

Sony has good shows now. Even the promo of PPK looks interesting and feel it might click with audience. Though awards come/not come I hope that PH stays away from Sony for sometime. People have to watch something for entertainment.

PREMAM WAS yhm in asianet right at 7 o clock i was in kerala for almost a month back in april i didn't see any hoardings actually i was hospitalised IN GG HOSPITAL PATTOM TVM AND I AM FROM KOLLAM DIST MAY BE I MISSED MANY THINGS IN THE SPAN OF THREE MONTHS😆

I agree! I still remember when SC fans got upset with star plus for tilting most of awards of Star parivar in 2014, in favor of YHM belonging to the famed PH!
GR received Dada Sahib Palki Award & even Zee-Gold Award for best actor only a couple of months before, ie April & May 2014! But Star plus denied any award for SC in June 2014 of that year, in spite of a huge fan support! GR & JW won again best actor awards in color TV's telly awards function just when the show was about to end in Sept 2014!
GR received in all 5 best actor award for SC apart from 3 Star Parivar wards in 2013! JW won 3 best actor awards for SC apart from 3 Star Parivar awards in 2013!
But the channel let GR & JW down terribly in 2014 Star Parivar award show, when they were winning awards everywhere! The reason speculated was SP's bias towards YHM & famed PH you have mentioned! Such things do happen, unfortunately!

Saraswatichandra was not Jenny alone, Gautham Rhode was equally responsible for its success and it was a good pair. Also SC was in prominent channel and it was initially done SLB productions before Sphere origins took over.

Another factor is when Jenny won for SC there were more quality shows running and many shows won award also. Like Sanjeeda and Simone for EHT.

But last 2 years awards has been pathetic to say the least.

@fernandes I remember 2014 SP awards. Less to talk abt it. If you look the real competition was between GR for SC and Anas Rashid for DABH. As Rashid was portraying the role of Sooraj with penchant. But then both of them were neglected for many coveted awards.

Yes GR won many other awards. He even went on Suryaputra Karn and won awards for that also. SC is also internationally much acclaimed.

@kniightriders YHM remake in Malayalam was a flop and I dont think it ran long.
