Harrinder Kaur is the son a pandit. He is a very religious man. He was bullied by his peer for being so traditional and prude by his peer in college. He falls in love with a modern girl named Daljeet in College. He proposes Daljeet for marriage. But Daljeet who has a modern outlook towards life wants to know Harrinder properly before rushing to marriage.. She proposes Harry that they should start to live together. Harrinder says to her that he detest the idea of premarital sex. One day Harry met with an accident. Daljeet comes to the hospital to see him. While leaving she leans in to kiss him on the lips. Harrinder pushes her away saying that it is a sin. It irks Daljeet. A furious Daljeet tells the entire college that Harrinder is actualy an impotent and that is the reason he never wanted to be sexually active with her during their 1 year relationship. Harrinder gets furious at Daljeet for calling him an impotent and insulting him infront of his friends. They break up.
The story takes a 15 years leap. Harrinder is now a 35 years old tourist guide whose parents died a tragic death. Insult by Daljeet and parents death made Harrinder a different man. He changes his name to Harry. He becomes a womanizer. He sleeps with a new woman every night and asks them to rate his performance. All the girls give him 10 out of 10. It makes him happy and helps him to forget Daljeet's insult. One day he meets Sejal. Sejal is a 27 years old Gujrati lawyer. Her marriage is fixed to her school friend Hemant who is also a lawyer. Sejal has decided to travel the world as Hemant is a workaholic and she wont be able to get the chance to travel the world after her marriage. Harry becomes her tour guide. One day while travelling Sejal discovers she has lost her engagement ring. She gets nervous and asks Harry to help her to find the ring. They start searching for the ring. While they are searching for the ring they get to know each other. While Sejal finds out that Harry is a womanizer, Harry gets to know that Sejal is a virgin who is very scared about her first night. Harry says to Sejal that Sejal should learn how to seduce her husband. Then Harry teaches her many ways to seduce a man. While searching for the ring and teaching Sejal sex positions Harry starts to develop feelings for Sejal. Scared of falling in love with Sejal, Harry asks her to find her ring herself. Harry scares Sejal by saying that he is a cheap man and can any day jump on Sejal. Sejal laughs and makes a contract. According to the contract if sexual intercourse happens between Harry and Sejal, Harry does not require to take any kinds of responsibility. Then they start their journey of searching the ring. Sejal slowly falls for Harry. She finds her ring in a chamber of her purse but does not disclose it to Harry as she wants to spend more time with him. Harry realizes thats its impossible to find the ring. So he makes a replica of the ring with all his savings and gives it to Sejal. It makes Sejal happy and she thinks Harry loves her. She decides to propose Harry. While she goes to propose Harry, she saw him making out with a girl. It makes her jealous and she gets drunk. Harry brings a drunken Sejal to her hotel room. While he is about to leave Sejal kisses him and atlast both give in to their desire. In the morning Harry tells Sejal that whatever happened was wrong and Sejal should forget about it as she was drunk and it was not her fault. A heart broken Sejal leaves for India and start marriage preparations with Hemanth.
The story takes a two years leap. Harry still could not forget Sejal. He sees Sejal in every women he sleeps with. One night while returning home from a club Hary finds a baby girl crying on the road. Harry notices a gold chain around her neck with a ring attached to the chain as a locket. Harry discovers it is Sejal's engagement ring and he is sure the baby is Sejal and Hemanths. The baby is lost. Harry starts to search for Sejal and Hemanth. Meanwhile he develops a bond with the baby. After few days he tracks down Hemanth who is a famous lawyer. He goes to meet him with the baby. Hemanth thanks Harry for finding the kid. He says to Harry that while going to market the mother fainted. She was rushed to the hospital but the baby was left alone in the street. Hemanth asks Harry to meet his wife. Harry gets nervous as he is scared to meet Sejal. But Harry is shocked to find out that Hemanth wife is not Sejal. A shocked Harry asks Hemanth why his wife is not Sejal. Hemanth asks Harry how he knows about Sejal. Harry tells Hemanth that he helped Sejal find her engagement ring. Hemanth then reveals to Harry that Sejal discovered she was pregnant with Harry's child so she broke her alliance with Hemanth. Sejal decided to raise the child alone as she does not want to burden Harry. Now Sejal lives in Hemanth's house as a paying guest. Harry then rushes to hospital to meet Sejal. Then they unite.
P.S.: I found it in an Anushka Sharma fan page. I don't know about the veracity of this story. But judging from the trailers it can be at least 70% true.
