Thanks for the post Payal. I thought I was the odd one out who thinks that we can't keep our grudges for long. You try to mend those, especially when the concerned person has realised his/her mistake

Mily, I totally dig this new reformed Ishwari.
I even liked the efforts her son and Dil made to make her happy.

However I am waiting for some efforts initiated by Dev and followed through by Sona for Bijoy.

Why is he still mocked? And why no effort from Sona to stop that mocking.

In that Scene Dev and Sona were very aloof with Bijoy. It stood out more because of the warmth between Sona Dev and Ishwari.

Though right now Golu, Bijoy and Ishwari are my favorite in this and I want equal efforts to make them all happy. I also like how Ishwari now has someone to share her hal-e-dil. I am just a little wary that the person is Asha. Asha is kinda 2 faced so I don't trust her much.

I have a great equation with my mom and mil without any of them feeding me with their hands. It was OTT

Yeah I like Ishwari. She's fun. But I don't like the partiality by sona towards her over her own father. Yeah it's right u need to make ur parents feel wanted. I get that. But the vibe of the scene for me was that ish was never wrong and dev was merciless with her. I mean i have a problems with the lines given to sona. Suddenly she 's sounding too desperate and just like a TV bahu. And trust me I don't like Ishwari monopolizing the air time, can't blame though she is the central lead. A little more of Sona, soha dev bonding will be always nice. I think Supriya ji is very particular abt all this. Whatever be the issue it always revolves around her. All the others are just props. Sona is turning very annoying nowadays. It's as if she doesn't have a life apart from ish

Mily- the reasons you cited are just some of the reasons I am so apathetic to Sona. She doesn't have a life. She has no personality anymore.
Honestly I do not look fw to her scenes at all. her lukewarm reactions to her parents(yawn- mummy ki book publish hui, but madam never congratulated), her attitude to Bijoy(the way she turned her back and walked off with Dev), Her mild reprimand(almost as if encouraging)to Dev when he called her father Mogambo and her OTT enthusiasm to appease Dev's family..The list is long, but I stop here.

the above just make her a very boring character according to me. Even Dev/Sona have little to no romance between them.

Among all this Ishwari has suddenly caught my interest with a good turn around and her awesome comeback. So I am just looking fw to seeing a good looking senior woman, make her mark through her own efforts. She took time, but has now won my heart. And I am ok with Dev and Sona becoming just sidekicks. don't care about them anyways.

Dev may have been aloof. But since then Dev has been the ever doting son he always was. Just because she doesn't wait for him to eat anymore.. doesn't mean that there was something wrong in their relationship. In fact, their relationship is probably the healthiest now its ever been. So why is Sona interfering NOW?

If anything, going by what Sona told Dev, Riya owes that apology to Ishwari far more. Dev may have been aloof but he was always still talking to his mother.

I agree.
Sonakshi has grown leaps in bounds in the interference quotient.

Unnecessarily mending what's not broken. It's irritating to watch her know it all mother India avatar.

These are my thoughts also. That scene where Ish is feeding Dev and Sona is great but I don't think that it is necessary for Ish to stay awake every night in order to serve and feed Dev. It is really OTT. Don't understand what Sona is trying to imply. Does she want Ish to start doing this again. I thought the mother-son relationship was going great without this OTT drama.

Its called "Ishwari effect" everyone's lives revolve around her. Ishwati turned good overnight despite not taking meds & water from Sonakshi & Asha... no justification given by writers for that!!!!!.

forget the couple who so passionately love eqch other and came together after 7 painful years!
forget the daughter they have a chance to raise together for the first time!
forget the FIL who was slapped & humiliated! all to make Ishwari mahaan.
OTT romance between Ishwari & Sona is sooo hard to digest. I am all gor the independence track but writers dont have to show Devakshi in constant guilt over Ishwari every day. And trying to please her... forgetting all others. Dinner scene disappointed.. OTT melodrama 😔
