Comedy is something Akshay is really good at and so his association with the show is a big news indeed. The makers of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge have roped Akshay for the return of the show which started back in the year 2005, and saw as many as four seasons.

He wrote on twitter,"Kya aapki comic timing perfect hai?Mujhe talaash hai aapke jaise best stand up comedian ki."

IMO that show was the best comedy show, especially first season which was won by Sunil Pal. That season had so many great and original performances. Plus it was always so great to look at Faarizaad Khola❤️. That was the show from where many popular comedians came including Kapil Sharma himself.

Miss Priyadarshan and his brand of films. They always made me laugh. From Hera Pheri to Malaamal weekly, Hungama. He lost his touch towards the end. Slice of life, not slapstick like the shit Sajid Khan makes mostly work for me.
