I think wearing earrings and nathiya is as Indian as it gets. It's more or less South Asian culture. So, yeah, if anything - Jack Sparrow's might have been overly influenced by the Western perception of an Indian hooligan (with traditional pirate dress).

He sure is dedicated to the role. That's what 4-5 piercings he has going on there.
Too bad the director is going to ruin the movie. It will make a fortune though.

How in the world did he manage to get the stud in without that thing to attach it to the nose ? Don't tell me Mamu pierced his nose ? 😲. I don't put it past him. 😆

Well I have not ever come across men wearing nose studs in India
Normally it is restricted to girls as far as I have seen in pictures
Even in our Ramayana or Mahabharata adaptations no one wore nose ring ?
