Silence prevailed around the front gate of Oberoi Mansion, whose beauty was enhanced by the pure serene white shimmering moonlight. The Oberois are startled with shock by the incident which had took place only in a spur of moment.
Just a few nanoseconds ago,they were all celebrating the happiness and merrymaking after the departure of the bad omen which was predicted by the Kinnar. It had occurred but they were safe now and can live their life happily. But the FATE is a witch with capital B.
Bygones were bygones. Sometimes something is better remained buried in the past than being dig out. Shivaay is happy that he is with his family safe and sound and nothing more important than present moment matters.
His family was hugging him tightly.The aura of his house was filled happiness and joviality. In between the atmosphere of jocundness and zeal, the elder daughter-in-law of the Oberois aka Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi, was feeling restless and worried all of sudden. Being a good actress, she masked her face with a perfect unbreakable facade of calmness and unfaltering smile perfectly attached to her face. But her fidgeting dainty fingers and restless roving eyes gave in almost the real expression of her heart.
Suddenly she noticed Kamini hiding behind a jeep with a pistol in hand and was aiming in the direction of Shivaay. Anika noticing this, ran on her heels towards Shivaay.
The family was confused at her sudden running.
Anika jumped before Shivaay. The gunshot was taken be her. Now she was lying on a pool of blood in the arms of her beloved with a small smile adorned on her face.Horrified, he stared at the blood with fear. He felt his own hands drench with the oozing red liquid as clear as rubies. The rubies floated down his hand a perfidy treasure or a curse
Without wasting anytime,Shivaay still in shock carried her in his car with OmRu tagging him in his car. OmRu took the front seat of the car and let Shivaay stay with his beloved in the back seat of the car.
He was pleading Anika to wake up.He was crying continuously.
They took her to hospital where doctors told them that Anika has lost lot of blood. Her condition is critical. Shivaay heart broke.
His white floral sherwani was covered in his beloved Anika's blood.OmRu are trying their best to reassure him but he's broken. Only his Anika is the only thing he needed beside him. She is the balm to his broken torn up heart.
After sometime doctor came out and informed him Anika is out of danger.They took Anika back to OM.They left ShivIka alone.
Shivaay eyes were bloodshot .He sobbed into her chest unceasingly, hands clutching at her chudidaar . She held him in silence, rocking him slowly as his tears soaked her chest. A tiny lapse let him pull away, blinking lashes heavy with tears, before he collapsed again, his howls of misery worsening. The pain must have come in waves, minutes of sobbing broken apart by short pauses for recovering breaths, before hurling him back into the outstretched arms of his grief.Slow desolate tears ran from her unblinking eyes and dripped steadily into her chudidaar.
Shivaay in between sobs scolded her for becoming superwomen and jumping to save him. The bullet was meant for him. He was meant to die not her. He was not afraid of death. Anika silenced him by placing her hands on his lips.
"STOP NOW!!!"
Tears were brimming from her eyes too. She started hitting on his chest.
"I didn't save your life but mine. As long as you were safe, then I'm safe."
Shivaay was shocked at her confessed. He hugged her tightly.
"You once asked me, if I feel afraid anytime in my life."
Taking a deep breath and cupping her face. He brought her closer and hugged her.
"Yes I feel afraid many times. When you fainted on Janmasthami, when the goons took you away because of that so called Bua of Sahil, when you were attacked by Daksh thrice, when you almost killed yourself when we went behind Svetlana, when you faked the memory loss drama, when you were away in the refrigerator, I feel my life was taken away from me when you were lying in the pool of blood."
"I Love You Anika. I can not live without you. You're my lifeline. My Everything. You are my only one,exclusively mine."
Shivaay confessed his love to Anika.
