Part 4

"You both know each other!" her brother asked.
Both nodded.
"How?" he questioned.
"My teacher!" "My student!" both said at the same time.
"Oh Okay!" he cleared his throat "Please stop being shocked both of you. It's normal that teachers and students meet outside of school."
"But not after a kiss!" she murmured which Suraj got as he knows lip reading.
He put that in the back of his head for the moment and extended his hand for an handshake saying "Happy Birthday Miss. Lal!"
"Hey buddy! You aren't in school to say Miss. Lal and all. Don't be formal." she smiled at her brother's comment.
"Vivaaan!" he said and turned to Chakor's side "Happy Birthday Chakor!" they shook hand.
"Thank you!"

"You two catch on, I will be back with our parents." Vivaan said.
"Ok!" he accepted.

Once he was out of their vision, Chakor turned to his side with her arms folded, looking into his eyes.
"What happened Miss. L"
"Chakor!" she interrupted him.
"Okay! Why are you looking at me like this?"
"Just seeing if I can find something important."
"Like?"
"Like what I"

"Buddy! Meet our parents." Vivaan interrupted them this time.
They all got introduced with the special mention of him being their daughter's teacher and the one who helped her when she was locked.
As they got few more guest entering the venue which is their garden, they left their children and moved away.

"Now that you know my sister, I don't think you would have problem to come home to do project man!"
"But"
"No buts! I hate those libraries we are pulled out from. Here we can work as long as we want."
"It's not the problem." scratching his neck.
"Then! Wait! Do you have any problem choti?"
"No!" she replied.
"So it's decided! We are working here from now on!" he accepted being with no other option "By the way, thanks a lot buddy for helping Choti!" remembering his sister's state on Friday as he saw the message from his sister in his phone.
"It's my duty!"
"Please stop your duty and work mantra! I don't even know how we met in a pub in first place!"
"Pub?" Chakor with a questioning look.
"Vivaan!" Chakor's mother.
"Enjoy the party! Choti give him company in my absence." she nodded and he turned to his mother's side "Coming Mom!"

And he moved from there.
The awkward silence came back between them.

"Was it the back door?" he started the conversation.
"Yes! It's easy to reach school from there. That gate is linked to the guest house path."
"Oh!" and he massaged his hair "It wasn't a kiss!"
"But"

She got interrupted by the DJ who asked everyone to join him on the dance floor.

The music on the background is a slow one.
All the pairs and children are dancing to the tune.
"Dance?" he ask hesitantly laying his hand.
"Sure!" immediately came the answer with a lovely expression on her face.
They interlink their finger while her one hand moves slowly to his shoulder making him shiver with the sensation she is creating.
Taking all the care he can, he puts his hand directly on her back.

"I didn't say anything like that."
"You murmured!"
"How do you know?"
"Lip reading!"
"What else do you know Si How should I call you here?"
"Not Sir!"
"Sur...Suraj is ok?"
He nodded.

There was no smile, no smirk, no laugh.
The conversation was simple but not sweet.
"CPR is what that's called."
She nodded seeing him in his eyes "But... Nothing!" she added.

"You go to pub?" she asked after few seconds.
"It was the only time I went. I wanted to know how it looks." he didn't even know why was he explaining.
"Oh! How was it?"
"Nothing interesting! Just got a friend!"
She nodded still facing him.

The dance goes on few minutes with their eyes locked together.
She frees her hand from his and puts on the other side of the shoulder making him to hold her by her shoulder as they are still swaying to the music.
She tiptoes to reach his height.
His eyes widen seeing what she is doing without taking in account the place they are present.
She starts to lean on him, closing little by little the gap until...

This is just to compensate the fact that the last part was short.

Thanks for the bonus update! Loved it!

I didn't expect her brother to be called Vivaan.

Sukor aren't wasting any time, they've already had a slow dance 😊.

Loved their conversation and dance.

The suspense! I want to know what Chakor was going to do or was it Suraj's imagination?
