The actor, who was present here on Monday along with Varun Dhawan and Karan for an IIFA 2017 press conference, said: "Film industry is incomplete without Karan Johar."

When mediapersons asked the reason behind making such a statement, Saif quipped: "'Baahubali...' Can you imagine our film industry without that? He is one of those arteries in the blood flow of the film industry." Karan, who was sitting next to him, thanked Saif for saying that.

Looking back at his journey as a host, Karan said: "I realised I started hosting shows from 2000, which was a Filmfare award. It's been 17 years! I am glad that every year I have managed to get the job! The experience is always good, as I enjoy whenever I am on stage."

Saif also said that he wants to host a show with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. He said: "It will be fun! He is so clever, I would live to host a show with him." Varun, who was sitting next to Saif, said: "I would love to watch you (Saif) and Shah Rukh working together on-screen."

He's talking as if Kjo conceptualised and directed BB give it a rest Saifu no matter how much u try n lick his feet he ain't gonna launch ur baby girl.. so try other producer/directors or at least try producing a movie for her.

Yeah right, Rana called and asked if KJO would help distribute BB. He does deserve credit for that. But if BB was crap, it would have sunk in the BO like the crap Dharma churns.
But KJO is an asset to the industry IMO. Despite the nepotism, despite the drama, the rhona dhona he does bring something unique to the industry.

KJo's movies - while popular in the 90s / 2000s are still the same today. He hasn't introduced or changed anything about BW movies, in fact - I think he's stagnating it's progress by creating movies that revolve around those same concepts from the old days.
Someone with his caliber of talent, vision, and power should be able to create high budget films that leave the audience with a huge impact, experiment with new ideas, etc.

KJo has been on a role with the same BS stories since the last century. BW would be a better place without this guy's nepotism, stupid stories, and his obsession for SRK.

He knows the pulse of audience right now. Every season there will be someone and some other person will take his position. 😆

True that.

The fact that he is able to be accessible to the other industry and being considered by Rajamouli to distribute his hardwork. That is a merit he earned.
