Shivaay is blinded by his happiness... In Thursday's epi he even failed to see that she had tears of pain and not tears of joy in her eyes... He called those tears if she is going to cry in happiness then her whole life she will spend crying now... He dint know that she is actually going to cry tears of pain for long now... If he cudnt recognise the tears of pain from tears of joy... What more. Butchering can be done...

it's sad but it just goes to show he never did consider her family. OmRu considered her family that's why they were there for her every step of the way. They didn't need big big words to emphasis their beautiful relationship with Annika. All they needed was their hearts.And shivaay..he talked the talk but he never could walk the walk.
