Shivaay and Annika's marriage loop just ended today. Not their love story, but the situation that began with misunderstanding, leading to their shotgun forced marriage, and today, it's end. Their lovestory, that began with her smashing his windscreen, is very much continuing.
With anger, misinformation, hurt, these things happened.
She told Dadi afterwards, she may never be able to accept this forced marriage, or be able to forgive him for this.
He dragged her to the mandap, around for pheres, pulled her hand to put varmala, and dragged her into his house. Every time she tried to leave, he pulled her back. First with force, then slowly by her heartstrings, as she fell deeper in love with him.
"This marriage means nothing to me. I can never give you the status as my wife. This marriage will be ending, as it will be as though nothing ever happened..." he said
"Fate has always made a fool of me. It will matter to you one day. You used my brother, my weakness and broke self respect and dignity, my strength. And you say nothing happened .."
" One day, you will find out what it feels like when someone makes a decision that affects your life, and robs you of something you love.
This marriage was never meant to make it to the marriage bed.
In between they learned about each other, save each other, and fell in love with each other. That journey is longer and still continues.
Yesterday , Annika accused Oberois of hypocrisy, by naming Omkara as the illegitimate child.
She used Shivaay's brother, his precious brothers, to attack him, to make him vulnerable. His own mother called the press to make it worse.
There was no BOOM! But the effect was very much felt.
Om enters the conversation asking why Shivaay didn't flinch when he heard it. It is because he knew about it already ,and didn't bother to tell him about it.
"Bhabhi, tell me is this the truth, or is it a lie?!?"
Say it is a lie, please Annika. Don't hurt my brother like this. Please he won't be able to take this.
Cruel Annika brought out Daima's video. BOOM!
Pinky was genuinely scared there. Daima clearly said, "I found out that Oberoi Sahab's son is naajayaz..."
Shivaay looses it, breaks every camera in sight and threatens doomsday if a single word of this goes out from there. He apologizes to Jhanvi for putting her in this situation.
Dadi laments, Bahu, the Lakshmi, who is supposed to bring light into the house, is setting the house on fire.. she sent those hurtful words at Annika, not realizing its Pinky who is that Bahu who is setting the house on fire. Annika is the one who is keeping it intact, by putting Shivaay in this defensive position and attacking her.
She brings back Tia as the source of Daima's video. It's a fitting return. The original wedding was a triangle between them. Now she comes again at the end.
"You've broken everything we've built all this time. You've broken the trust between us completely. WHY??! " The hurt in his face was unbearable to see.
Pinky joins in on cue, to add needed poison. By this time, Shivaay is just standing there as Annika goes extreme , in her attempt to push her husband out of his hurt into rage.
"I am tired of you all using him. I want Shivaay and I to separate from you all.. "
(Sorry, but Bhatwara was used by Pinky very early in this story. Today she pretends to be innocent. Shame on Dadi for not recognizing this)
The last straw breaks on Shivaay's back. She pushes him into divorcing her. My God, her level of b*itchiness was level 99. Raging, he kicks her out. Pinky is almost jumping with glee.
She refuses to leave. "I am your wife"
"For the first time, I'm sorry you are my wife. But not for long."
He started it, he ended it. He threw the papers in her face, and will drag her out of the house the same way he dragged her in.
End of a marriage.
More is coming today.. but I'll leave you with this.
Their feelings are real. OmRu and Jhanvi were seriously conflicted today at Annika's self immolation.
Omkara's rant about SHivaay not telling him about the blackmailing will make him a hypocrite if he doesnt tell the same truth back about Shivaay.
Tej, will not let go that the media will cast suspicion upon his son as illegitimate, especially because he knows it's Pinky's doing. Shivaay's secret hangs on the balance here. I have no idea where this is going. whether the writers have the guts to let his secret out now.
OmRu won't let their separation go on for long. Jhanvi also. Even Gauri for that matter.
Don't forget all those Pinky Promises. The memories with her will haunt him in every corner of this house and force him to think.
