well if m not wrong toh Raman actually never liked alia I mean he never wanted her to be the bahu of Bhalla family...for him she is more like Adi's fiancee or now wife rather then his own daughter

No doubt now he loves her n accepted her as DIL but still abhi tak bhi they only share that FIL-DIL wala relationship... So that's why he is not that much closer to her

But if we talk about rosh toh Raman actually likes her n cares for her...I know he just told her to leave bhalla house but at that time also our puttar behaved like a father tum hostel mein rehna , yeh paisey kaam ayenge n all

Raman accepted alia first becoz he was scared of losing ishu becoz of his dream and than becoz of Adi
while the whole family calls her ishita ki parchayi but he never said that instead he said it for roshini
and roshini Ramans bond is stronger than alias bond with him becoz he considers alia as his dil whereas roshini for him is his daughter
