Part 14:

Ishita ran towards iyer house controlling her sobs... Seeing the most heart wrenching scene in front of her eyes... Her Raman having someone else other than her is his arms... She was not able to control her tears that was flowing continously...

As she entered the house, she saw ruhi who was busy relishing her favourite dish... Ruhi's gaze fell on ishita... She smiled at her mother... Ishita just wiped her tears and composed herself...

Ruhi : mamma... Aap bhi aao hum saath mein dosa kaayenge...

Ishita : Nahi beta... Mamma ko abhi bhook nahi hai... Aap kao... Mamma abhi aati hoon.. She said with a weak smile and went to her room not wanting to futher traumatize ruhi...

She went to her room and broke out crying bitterly...

The little girl was brilliant enough to find out that her mother's face was worn out than usual ... She went to ishita's room and saw her crying lying on the bed...

Ruhi: mamma aap lo kyun lahe ho... She asked in a sad tone...

Ishita heard ruhi's voice and wiped her tears in jiffy composing herself and sat straight...

Ishita : ruhi... Aap?.. Aap kaa rahe the Naa... Kya hua aise kana chodke kyun aay ho... She said opening her arms for her...

Ruhi ran into ishita's arms hiding herself in her chest... Ishita picked her in her arms and made her sit on her lap...

Ishita : kya hua betu... She asked caressing her hair...

Ruhi: mamma... Papa philse aapse jagada kiya hai kya... Papa ne aapko ghal bahal nikal diya hai kya... Isiliye aap lo lahein hain... Philse hum alag hogai kya... She said in verge of crying...

Ishita : ruhi aap aise kyun bol rahe ho... Abhi toh mamma, papa Hum dono aapke saath haina...

Ruhi: haan... Pal... Aap dono toh kabhi dekho ladte lehtein haina...

Ishita felt bad seeing her insecurity...

Ishita (St): yeh kya kar rahi hoon mein ruhi ke saat... Iss choti si umar mein itna kuch dekna pad raha hai... Sab kuch mere liye... Poor kid is so insecure... I will not let my baby suffer due to me... Now Raman is no more part of My life... He is going to get engaged to shagun... Todi din mein un dono ki shaadi bhi hojayegi... Toh raman aur shagun ko aise dek kar mujhe kuch farak nahi padna chahiye...

Abhi mere liye ruhi se badkar koi nahi hai... Ruhi ke alawa mere aur raman ke beech mein kuch nahi hai... So ill not talk to him anything else other than ruhi...

She was in deep thoughts making ruhi even more worried...

That's when Raman came to iyer house and stood at the doorway hesitant to go in ... He was looking around to find ishita... But she was no where to be seen...

He then looked at his mother in law and passed a weak smile for which she gave a cold stare ( she was still angry on raman as ishita had to suffer so much because of him)

He was just waiting for someone to call him in... Looking at ishita's room from time to time...

That's when Mr.iyer came...

Mr.iyer : arey raman beta.. Ander aao...

Raman : woh... Mein... Mujhe ishita se milna hai ..

Mr.iyer : jao beta .. She is in her room...

Raman : ji...

He downcasted his eyes and went directly towards ishita's room ignoring all the glares that his mother in law was passing... His steps halted ar the door listening to ruhi's voice...

Ruhi: mamma... Kuya hua... Kuch bolo... She said making ishita come out of her thoughts...

Ruhi : bolo mamma... Papa ne aapko phirse daata?.. Yaa shagun aunty ne aapko kuch kiya... She said totally scared taking shagun's name...

Raman just looked on...

Ishita : Nahi toh... Papa kyun mujhe daantenge... Aapke papa toh sabse ache papa na... He loves my rooh baby alot just like mamma... She said wiping the tears in ruhi's eyes...

Ruhi : haan... Mele papa toh bohot ache hain... He loves baby and mamma so much haina mumma... She said widening her arms... Raman smiled looking at her...

Ishita just looked at ruhi without giving any answer...

Ruhi: bolo mamma... Papa humse bohot pyar kartein haina...

Haan... They heard raman's voice and turned towards his direction...

Raman : beta... Papa mamma se pochenge... Par will you give papa 5 minutes... Papa ko mamma se kuch zaroori baat karna hai... Aap tab tak bahar jaakar keloge?...

Ruhi: teekhe papa... Pal plomise Kalo aap mamma se nahi ladoge na...

Raman : Nahi meri maa... Abhi jao...

Ruhi got down from ishita's lap and ran out of the room... Shouting all the best papa...

Raman : exam todi na likne jaa raha hoon? He just smiled at his daughters cuteness and latched the door behind
As He did not want ruhi to over hear them...

Ishita just looked at raman and went near the window trying to avoid him.

He took slow steps and went near her... And stood few inches away from her... All of sudden there was unknown restlessness engulfing them.. Both were just looking everywhere around expect meeting each others eyes...

Raman spoke breaking the ice...

Raman : ishita ... Mein...

Ishita was already angry seeing raman like that with shagun.. She just did not want to speak to him verywell knowing that they will end up fighting If they have a further talk...

Raman : mujhe tumse...

Ishita : ruhi Ke baare mein kuch baat karna hai kya.. She said wiping her tears making a straight face cutting him short...

Raman : Nahi... Woh shag...

Ishita : ruhi ke baare mein kuch nahi haina... Then I think we have nothing between us to talk...

Raman : ishita... I know you are angry... But tum jaise soch rah hai waise nahi...

Ishita : meine kuch nahi socha hai... Please aap yahan se jaaye...

Raman : ishita... He neared her and took his hands to her shoulder... She just showed her palm stopping him from touching her... He looked at her totally hurt seeing her stopping him from touching her..

Ishita : meine bola na... Aap jaaiye yahan se... Mujhe todi der akele rehna hai...

Raman : ishita... I know you are hurt...

Ishita : hurt?... Oh aapko pata chal gaya that I am hurt... I am glad that you got to know this early...

Raman : ishita... Aise kyun baat kar rahi ho...

Ishita : Aur kaise baat karoon... If ruhi wasn't admitted in hospital... Aaj hamari divorce case ki last hearing hoti... May be divorce bhi hua hoga... Aaj ruhi ki wajah se ham baat kar rahe hai... So I don't think we have anything other than ruhi to talk between us...

Raman : ishita... Please... He pleaded her...

Ishita : just leave me alone raman... She almost shouted...

Raman : Oh god ishita... Yeh kya hogaya tumhe, pehle mere baat toh suno...

Ishita : mujhe kuch nahi sunna hai raman...

Raman : tumhe sunna padega... He said gritting his teeth... And Pulling her by arms..

Ishita : kyun?... Jab mein aapke per pakad ke chilla chilla kar aapse Beek mang rahi thi... Raman please ek baar meri baat sun lijiye... Tab aapne meri baat suna?.. Nahi Na... Toh mujhe bhi abhi sunne keliye kuch nahi hai...

Raman felt his heart wrench with her questions...

Raman : ishita... Mein...

Ishita : aap kuch mat boliye raman... Bolne ki hak aap ko chuke hai...
Aap jao... Aur aapki biwi... Sorry hone wali biwi ke saath kush rahiye...

Raman : bas... Just shut up... He roared in anger...

Ishita : kyun gussa aarah hai... Meine ek baar bola... You are not able to take it for once.. Just think what I would have gone through ... Jab dekho mani ke saath mujhe jodke baat kar karke kar karke... Mujhe kitna hurt kia aap...

Raman : ruko... He said with a fiercely making her steps halt... He went closer towards her...

Raman : zyada bolne ke shawk haina ... Toh ab mera baari hai... Jo main bolunga woh tum sunogi... Sunna padegi... He said pulling her by arms...

Ishita : raman... You can't force me like this...

Raman : bas... He held her cheeks burying his fingers in her flesh making her hiss in pain... Bola na... Not a single word from your mouth... Tumhe jo bolna hai tum bolchuki ho... Ab mera baari... Jo mein boldonga... Woh tum chup chap sunoge...

Ishita : ahhh... Raman.. You're hurting me... Chodo...

Raman : Nahi chodonga... Bahot hogaya... You are trying to potray yourself like a victim?.. Toh kaan kol ke sunlo... Aaj jo bhi ho raha hai na woh sab tere wajah se ho raha... Sirf aur sirf teri wajah se... Tu ne sab kuch bigad diya ishita... Sab kuch... He said with moist eyes leaving her cheeks...

Raman : tujhe pata hai mein tumse kitna pyaar karta hoon... Tumhe kaise pata hoga... If you would have understood me even 1% na... Aaj hum yeh sab nahi dekne padta hai...

Ishita : wah raman... Now you are accusing me putting the entire blame over me?... Aap nahi badli raman... Shayad aap kabhi nahi badlogi...

Raman : kyun... Mein kyun badlo?..
Tumne badli hai kya... Mein ne kitna samjaya tujhe... Ishita uss mani acha insan nahi hai... Ashok is not a good man please un dono ke saat mat chalo... Did you ever listen to me...No... You thought I was a typical Indian husband who was jealous of his wife's success haina...

Ishita just kept numb...

Raman : uss din... I went through 100 times more pain of what you went through... Ek baar bhi tumne socha mein kis cheez se guzar rah honga... Mein mar chuka tha ishita... I was dead seeing you like that... Abhi bhi tumhe lag raha hoga that I dint trust you... You know what... I trust you...I trust you more than myself.. Ishita felt a unknown happiness when raman told that...

Raman : ishitaaa... He shouted... Pulling her making her crash on his hard chest... Don't you dare bad mouth yourself...

Raman : you want answers for my reaction?... Yeh bolo pehle... Itne din toh tum bahot chup thi na... You never gave back to me whenever I accused you... Aaj achanak kya hogaya... Aise kyun behavior kar rahi ho... It's just Because you saw me and shagun in a compromising position?... Do you think meine kuch galat kia hoga...

She just downcasted her eyes not able to face him...

Raman : bolo ishita... Do you think Mein aur shag... She kept her hands in his mouth stopping him telling further... He looked at her eyes deeply that reflected the love that she had for him... He removed her hand from his mouth without breaking the eye lock...

Raman : deka you are not able to digest the mere mention of shagun's name with mine...Then think what I would I have gone through... Tume aise ek admi ke saat bistar par... Woh bhi uss tarah se dekar maine ek baari mein sau dafa mar chuka hoon ishita... He said completely devastated...

Ishita started crying bitterly hiding herself in his chest... Raman did not hug her back or tried to console her... He just stood numb...And let her cry her heart out... Seeing her like that... Unknown tears started flowing his eyes too...

Raman took his hands to engulf her in his arms... Before that she fell on the floor...

Raman :ishitaaa... He shouted seeing her suddenly unconscious on the floor... Ishita... Uto... Kya hua ishita... Please uto... He said patting her cheeks... I am sorry.. Mujhe tumse aise baat nahi karni chahiye tha... Uto... He said panicking seeing her like that... Finding no response from her...

Ishitaaa... He cried out loud hugging her to his heart...
